Ihana linna vuodelta 12. vuosisadalla, kunnostettu 17-luvulla, jonka aatelissukuun Acciaioli, upea torni rakennettu malli yhden Palazzo Vecchio Firenzessä. Montegufonin linna on osa suurta kiinteistöä, jossa on viinitarhoja ja oliivipuita Chianti-alueen sydämessä.

Etäisyydet Villa: pieni kylä Montagnana V. P. kanssa ruokakauppoja 1 km, Montespertoli kaikenlaisia ​​kauppoja n. 5 km, Firenze 20 km, Pisa n. 70 km.
Bussipysäkki bussit Firenze, Montespertoli ja Empoli on vain muutaman metrin päässä linnasta pois. Montespertolissa on tarjolla vuokrattavia pyöriä ja skoottereita.

Truly a beautiful experience. The Castle was a peaceful and beautiful place, the rooms were clean and comfortable and the larger castle was so lovely to explore. The onsite restaurant was really convenient and served terrific Tuscan food. This is a gem of a holiday destination and I can't wait to return!

A gorgeous castle with a really interesting history. The views are stunning and the location is ideal. The restaurant is absolutely phenomenal too. The only drawback is that this unit is on the top floor of an old, not very well ventilated castle and the nights are insufferable during a heat wave, even with the fans provided. Also, the one bathroom has a sewage odor.

We had a wonderful 4 night stay for a wedding! The castle staff was friendly and helpful. The grounds are beautiful and the views are fabulous!!. Everything was clean and neat. We loved overlooking the courtyard in our suite. The food was wonderful and was the right temperature even for the number of people we had dining. We were there in early October and it gets chilly in the evenings and overnight, but they don't turn the heat on until a little later. They had good blankets to keep us warm.

Great location, beautiful and tranquil scenery. You need a car to access. Friendly and helpful staff and the apartments are full of charm and character. If nobody is at reception due to limited hours, very easy to contact via airbnb or leaving a note at reception as we did. They provide fans in hot weather, but don’t expect air con as this is an old castle. Be aware you need to buy own basics such as toilet roll(only 1 provided per bathroom), liquid soap, salt n pepper. Plenty of towels. All in all would stay again.

Very cool opportunity to stay in a historically significant castle in Tuscany. the architecture and grounds are lovely and interesting. We found the pool to be a wonderful place to cool off on a hot afternoon. The rooms were pleasant, albeit without air-conditioning. Fans were provided and this was actually not a big issue. If you are planning a prolonged stay, I would recommend brining along extra personal supplies such as toilet paper, soap and shampoo as these are only provided in a limited quantity. if you plan on cooking, also bring along dish soap as this is not provided, although the kitchen is otherwise well stocked with dishes, pots and pans etc.

We have never felt so unwelcome

We have never felt so unwelcome as at this property. In the past two years we have been to over 60 hotels and apartments but never have we been treated so inhospitably and received such poor quality for such a high price. On arrival we were unpleasantly surprised. There was NOBODY. Restaurant closed, Bar closed, Reception closed. No one. Just some other guests walking through the building. The could have warned us via Email. When we walked into the apartment we were shocked. It was 38 degrees outside, and we knew there was no air conditioning, but it was so hot! The apartment was directly under the roof. We immediately opened the windows, but of the 3 bedrooms, each with a small window, the mosquito net in 1 bedroom was broken, so that it did not cover for +/- 50%. So we couldn’t use it. During the night it was not possible to get the temperature below 35 degrees. While it was much colder outside. It was horrible. If that was all, but besides that the bathrooms weren't clean, the wicker chairs in the dining room were broken so the ends of the broken cane stuck up your bottom. There were all kinds of lizards and spiders running through the rooms, it was just all old, broken and dirty. We've been trying to get in touch to sort things out. But the phone number at the reception did answer, but hung up. When we called again they just didn’t pick up anymore. The Pool is just as bad as the apartment. The pool is not that deep. But you can't see the bottom. That's how green the water is. There are a lot of algae in the water, making it green. Really dirty and unhealthy. The sun beds around the pool don't look much cleaner. Bah! According to the website Check out is before 8 am, but nobody present, only at half past nine someone appeared. Then we had already decided to leave. While we already had paid for 5 more nights. The rental company has clearly delivered a non-performance.. We should not have expected such a bad accommodation. But they did not want to cooperate with a refund or a partial compensation for the accommodation costs already paid. Despite they where admitting it wasn't right. Our Complaints were not dealt with by the accommodation because 'we had not given them the chance to fix things' What did they want to do? Fix everything? That would be impossible We do not recommend this accommodation to anyone. Here the customer is not king. Here, the customer is the one who has to pay for their failures.

Superbe lieu très authentique que nous recommandons. C'est très agréable de vivre dans cet environnement. L'appartement était un peu vieillot, il faisait une chaleur étouffante (sous les toits) et nous étions réveillés par le bruit des livraisons le matin. Wie im paradies und einfach nur zu empfehlen. Es ist so wie man sich die Toskana vorstellt mit einem tollen Ausblick in die Weiten. Das Castello hat einfach seinen eigenen Charm. Die mitarbeiterinnen sind sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. das essen im hauseigenen Restaurant ist sehr lecker mit einem tollen preisleistungsverhöltnis. Kann es empfehlen… nur bringt zur vorsicht mückenschutzmittel mit.
