The main hotel is undergoing renovations, which are very much needed. There was no one at the front desk on Thanksgiving Day when I arrived and no one within shouting distance. I got someone when I called the hotel number. Eventually someone came to the desk and cheerfully checked me in. Not her fault; appeared to be skeleton staff on slow day.

Great stay for the price. Recent reviews spoke negatively about the indoor pool but it was clean and we enjoyed it! Rooms are basic and dated but you can’t beat it for the price, especially during football season

The room was clean and comfortable. I read some reviews that the rooms needed updating. This might be true, but my room was clean and well cared for. My son and I played 18 holes and the course was in good shape. Some soft areas from recent rain coupled with some careless cart drivers had left some extra hazards.

We were traveling unexpectedly with our wheelchair bound son. Unfortunately there were only 2 handicapped rooms, both occupied. Standard rooms are too tight even for the smallest of wheelchairs. The rooms were not serviced ( beds left unmade and the trash not emptied) The shower handle fell apart in my hands and a large metal bar fell off the elevator and laded on my son’s lap in his chair. He was not injured but unsettled. The elevator had not been cleaned in some time and doubtful the carpets were cleaned recently. A simple tea bag was not to be had. The rate was very reasonable and understandably so.

Pleasant stay.

Pleasantly surprised as we went for WVU family weekend. This got us out of the campus and into the beautiful country. Room was clean and beds were comfortable. Hotel was quiet. Price was also reasonable. Surrounding area was just beautiful. Nice areas along the Cheat. Would stay here again without hesitation.

Surprised this place has so many bad reviews. Sure it’s a bit dated but that’s not really a huge issue in the grand scheme of things. Everything else was fine. People expecting 5 star resorts for 3 star hotel prices are stupid and annoying.

The property was super nice upon arrival. Check-in was easy and staff was eager to help. Getting to our room was fast, easy, and convenient. However, we had barely any internet/wifi service. We werent even able to watch an entire episode of a show because of the internet. It just continuously kept buffering. There was no refrigerator, no microwave.

When we checked in, i told the front desk about having 1 room reserved for the first night and 2 rooms for the second night. And that we wanted to stay in the same room both nights and have the second room close to us on the second night. But housekeeping knocked on our door the second day and said we were supposed to be checking out. I went to the front desk and they fixed it. I was also disappointed that the restaurant and bar weren't open for our entire stay. I used to go on golf trips and enjoyed the restaurant and bar.
