All the staff was very nice. It had an old fashioned feel. Clean and no old smells. Breakfast was nice....blueberry waffles fresh fruit and a hard boiled egg. You could also choose toast or English muffin. They said the syrup was Log Cabin, but i think real maple syrup would be better. They also had wine tasting at 5pm that was a nice touch . We liked sitting outside our room at the table, drinking the wine, and bringing out a cheese, meat, fruit plate we made. After breakfast we sat there at the table drinking espresso we made in our Moka Pot, enjoying the fresh air and fall in the air. The room was spacious with a desk and bed in one section, and sofa, chair, TV, in the other. A very cute place. We would stay there again if in the area.

We were not expecting such a lovely hotel but it surprised us. The room was very nice, we got 2 queen beds for 3 people. It’s was comfortable, roomie enough for the 3 of us. We had breakfast included at the dining hall at the lobby. They could up that a bit, but the staff were great and very accommodating.

This place is a real gem. it is an old school motor lodge tucked around an historic home and gardens. Rooms updated with mini-split to provide ultimate comfort. Stay includes a wine hour and breakfast. Several restaurants within a block but you can also easily walk to downtown restaurants (all less than a mile).
