Loved the fireplace lounges, interior nautical design, menu at The Irons, very friendly and helpful staff. My room was wonderful (except for the toilet malfunction which was fixed relatively quickly). Enjoyed my hot tub and comfortable bed.

Everything was great but we noticed the walls were thin and you could hear EVERYTHING. If I didn’t have a child with me then I wouldn’t even be leaving this review. But if you have kids thats a bummer. We heard our next doors neighbors having adult fun even with the tv on :/

My wife became ill in Newport, RI, on Wednesday, May 29th, so we had to return to Maryland to take her to a hospital. I called Expedia to cancel our reservation, but they declined the request, stating that I would incur an additional $160 cancellation fee on top of the initial $150 cancellation fee for the Newport hotel. Consequently, I cannot comment on the hotel experience since we did not check in. We paid $242.00 for one night at the Hilton, but we did not use the room. Because of this experience, we have decided not to do business with Expedia in the future. On the evening of May 29th, I called Hilton and explained our situation to a representative. He assured me he would speak with his manager to see what could be done, but I have not heard back from them. 410-236-7755

This property was beautiful and very convenient. One suggestion is moving the artwork that is hanging near the bed in room 432. It had rows of heads that were not very comforting. The bed was comfy and the shower had amazing pressure though!
