So dirty we left 2 days early and got a hotel
This was my first time using VRBO, and this host is giving VRBO a bad first impression. This stay started off with asking for a early check in or place to store our bags while we explore the city. No response at all. We couldn’t get a hold of them at all and they had 2 months notice to reach back. So communication was awful they didn’t give us the location until 15 minutes before checkin! I see why, because it’s located in a not so nice area. Once we got in the place looked clean until you sat down the carpets were stained and the pillows had stains in them and one was just totally yellowed from not being cleaned. Hair in the sheets that had not been cleaned and finger nail clippings on the couch!! We rolled out the floor mats and so much hair on them and the floor. They didn’t have a enough pillow cases and the sheets were available on a high shelf in a ball not folded! We at that point decided we are only staying the night this one night. We laid our clean shirts over pillows for pillow cases. We lost our money and left before using the other 2 nights we paid for. The host offered to clean, but the carpet and the pillows were needing to be replaced and we didn’t hear back after I stated this. We ended ip paying double of what we intended, but I could not have my mother sleep in these conditions. If I could give these host and place a 0 star rating I would. I want to warn anyone considering this place to stay, run! Save yourself and money!
