We chose this hotel because of the airport shuttle from Federal Circle, and we were only staying 1 night. The driver of the shuttle was pleasant enough. He is from Guyana and made pleasant conversation about the cost of the new JFK and roads. The young (Indian) lady at reception was not welcoming and friendly, but she was professional and got the job done. The room was a tight squeeze. We had a suite with 2 beds and my husband could barely get onto his side of the bed without hitting his legs on the wall next to the bed. Still the room was clean and everything worked fine. The complimentary breakfast was nothing special but it was included in the cost of the hotel. The issue is that, for what is being offered, this hotel is way over-priced when compared to others like Hilton in the area. We are staying another 1 night on our return travel and we have booked a different hotel.

Outstanding customer service and proximity to JFK airport make this a real gem. The staff was courteous and went above and beyond. The shuttle service is convenient and the value is high relative to the price for a night in NY.

Light sleeper

First let me say, the staff was incredible. They were polite and accommodating. I was able to get help navigating a train and then subway to Manhattan and I asked to switch rooms which they did. However, this hotel is generally very loud. Rooms are small and close together and doors slam shut. It didn’t help that there were a group of baseball teams with 8-10 year olds running around yelling until midnight, but that is a one off of misfortune. The shower water does not get very hot but it was clean, the shuttle driver was timely and helpful. All in all it was an okay hotel with a great staff. If you’re a light sleeper I’d skip it but otherwise enjoy your stay!
