The best thing about this hotel is definitely the location. It’s close to several subway stations and surrounded by plenty of restaurants, shops, and places to walk to. That said, everything else felt pretty bare-bones.
From the outside, you wouldn’t even realize it’s a hotel. There’s no big sign, just a couple of sliding doors. Once I got to my room, it looked fine at first glance, but it didn’t seem like it was cleaned thoroughly. There was dust around, smudges on the mirror, and even an AirPod on the floor next to the bed, which tells me housekeeping didn’t check the room very well.
The bedding wasn’t great either. The duvet was super thin, the pillows were way too soft, and the towels felt cheap. My view was of a college building right across the way, so I had to keep the blinds closed most of the time for privacy. The fridge barely got cold, and even though the listing said there was a microwave, there wasn’t one. There’s also no front desk after 10 PM, which isn’t very convenient if you need anything late at night.
The only real reason to stay here is for the location. If you’re planning to be out most of the time and just need a bed, it’s fine. But if you care about comfort or cleanliness, I’d look elsewhere.
