Staff was nice. Good area. Small but serviceable room. The air conditioning did not work. The room kept heating up to 80 degrees. The only window had no screen so you could only safely open it a little bit and it did not help the room temp much. The breakfast was awful. It was “continental” but it could barely barely be called that.

I thought the Hotel Stanford had the charm of old New York and was centrally located near a subway station and walkable to Penn Central and Port Authority. It worked well for me and I recommend it.

Nice location to where we were there to visit. Pleasant workers. Just no wash cloths. Hand towels and body towels. Which is fine but i think all hotels should advertise that when that is something they do.

For the price point, this was one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed in in Manhattan. The room was recently renovated and very comfortable. The bathroom was very nice with lots of hot water all the time. Staff was extremely friendly.
