Super frustrated the door to terrace couldnt open. Photo on Expedia is way better. Chairs on terrace were folding chairs and nothing like pictured. No door on bathroom. They added a curtain ( nice to do) but small bathroom and my biggest frustration was the room would not go below 68 degrees. I asked and they checked 3 x but never was fixed. I am WAY not a good warm sleeper and it made 3 evenings super uncomfortable. I am a FAN of Park South and chose this as alternative but wouldn't recommend. Also one positive was the GYM, That was great as were the tickets for complimentary beverage. I am sorry to write a poor review, as I never do but the room was not great and the temperature not being adjustable was a deal killer for me.

Service with a smile

This was a return stay so clearly means I like the place. The one thing that sadly lets down the team is housekeeping. I returned to my room on two back to back days to find my room just as I had left it hour ago in the morning. This is not good. Kudos to the front desk staff for sorting things out for me as quickly as possible and to Barry (excellent doorman) for making me comfortable while I waited for room to be serviced. I must also commend the front desk for sorting out an early check-in for me on extremely short notice and moving me to a better room when I complained about the size and location of the room assigned. This kind of service is what makes people like myself become loyal customers. If only the housekeeping team were equally good. They are the reason why I knocked off a star from my rating.

US Open weekend stay at the Le Meridien

The experience was excellent from the check in and check out. The staff are very attentive and helpful , Their customer service is way better than any 5 star Hotel we stayed . We will come back again to this Hotel. Thanks to Christina, Oswaldo from the front desk and the housekeeping crew. This is such a memorable stay in New York.
