As a housekeeper I have a high level of cleanliness. This hotel is clean however they could have spent a little more time cleaning the bathroom and windows. The bed was decent for being a hotel. Bring your own pillow and blanket and you’ll be set, cause theirs are paper thin. Employees are very nice. The amenities are nice. Over all 3.5 star!

I’ll book this day through Hotels.com as a pay property stay in my car was charged before I even got to the state because the card used to book was not the car I intended to use to pay and it overdraft me and no one is compensating me for that when I selected the option pay at property.

Bright and attractive

Cheerful, colorful looking place. The morning breakfast area and lounging area is very colorful and inviting. It is on the lower level and the workout room is also on that level. Staff were friendly and helpful. The size of the rooms is on the smaller size, but typical likely for the NY area and for this price level. The free breakfast was ok. The lower level room (C, cellar?), though still cheerful, clean and complete was a bit smaller than the upper level rooms and the window was a basement type on level with the parking lot. Maybe avoid those rooms (last available for me). The 5th floor was much nicer (another party member had that). Could walk to some local small restaurants like the great Pierogi Cafe. Would stay again.

Property was very safe and quiet, the only thing is no parking available around the area so you will need to pay 40 dollars plus tax per night to park in the hotel's parking lot which the parking lot is very small and very hard to enter and exit. It would be nice for the parking to be cheaper due to the size of the lot and should be one set price. Dog fees should be one set price for the entire stay instead of per night. other wise it was a good and quiet stay.

This location was very quiet and clean. It is literally one stop from the Barclays and walking distance to the metro. My bed frame was break and was making noises every time I moved but besides that I will be staying here again on another visit to New York.

Hotel had a pleasant smell throughout. Staff was attentive. Had a handicapped accessible room, so it was a pretty big room. Check in went well. Not sure of the spelling of their names, but Youly and Kay were very friendly and informative..Breakfast was ok. Eggs didn't look too good and were in the same serving dish, though partitioned, as pork sausage.Same utensil used for both. I suggest other meat options other than pork. I had the oatmeal. My Dad was fine with the eggs and sausage. Location of hotel was ehhhh. Overall, a nice stay.

Don't stay at this hotel unless you love the stench of marijuana. Every part of this hotel, including the rooms stinks of marijuana. The host tried to put me in a room in the basement--didn't realize that was possible. I actually went down there and room felt like a jail cell--not even a desk, just a bed, shelf and bathroom. Wound up staying on the 5th floor, much better. Reasonably quiet neighborhood. Host didn't know what Hilton Honors was so I couldn't get points.

I loved my stay at Tru by Hilton Brooklyn! I had to call a few times and the people at the front desk were nice and helpful. Our room was clean comfortable, definitely not the biggest but that was the least of my worries. We found free street parking and our view out the window was a little obstructed by other buildings but again, the least of my worries. I would definitely return!
