bathrooms need work

I want to rate this hotel higher but the private bathrooms in the Japanese/Western rooms need some serious renovation work. At least buy new shower curtains or clean the mold off the ones that are there. The staff are fantastic, the rooms are huge but the bathrooms let the hotel down.

Old, don't take discount slogans seriously.....

The hotel has many extensions called wings. Everything is huge here, dinner hall is a good 15 minutes walks from our room, having to taking 2 lifts. Room is poorly kept, and untidy, carpet is rusty and feels unattended to for a long time. There is no public shopping or walk about places nearby. Our room faces another building, instead of traditional Onsen hotel, a view of the river. Thought we had a great deal with 50% off, but ended up just getting what we paid for. Dinner is a self serve buffet, not the traditional Japanese Half Board banquet, with different dishes of food that covers the whole dinner table.

Room shower problem

It was a nice hotel. However, two things were remarkably bad. I found fungus in the shower curtain and the bathtub had also fungus. Second, the hot water supply in the shower had intermittently (e.g., every 30 seconds) hot and cold water flow, which was really disturbing. This is about the shower with the room, not about common bath place (onsen). Others were good. I am not sure whether these problems were in other rooms also. THanks

建物が古い。離れの建物へ移動する際、屋根がないので雨の時は出入り口の傘を借りました。 部屋のクロスが破けていたり、トイレの便器の黄ばみ、掃除が行き届いていなくて残念でした。 フロントのスタッフさんは丁寧に対応して下さりました。

別館でした。食事会場や大浴場が本館なので移動に外の渡り廊下を通らないといけませんが、まあそこまでの苦労ではないです。（その渡り廊下は湿気と田舎の臭いがキツイですが） バイキングは種類は少ないですが、味は家族連れなら満足するのではないでしょうか 私たちは30代のカップルですが、感動する美味しさではないですが、普通に食べられる範囲の味付けなので値段には見合っていると感じました。 常に補充されてるので後の回でも急いで取らなくても平気なのが良かった。 大浴場は本当に気持ちよくて、正直私は肌が綺麗な方なのですが、それでもかなりスベスベになったのでとても大満足です。
