Little rough this time

This place was a little rough. The front desk staff said nothing while I was checking in until I asked what time breakfast was. He replied politely, however I have always been greeted when I get to a hotel. Maybe he was having a bad day. The whole hotel had quite a strong fragrance, not a bad smell, but very strong. They do not vacuum as I found a lot of food crumbs and a quarter on the floor of my room. There was a gummy bear in the hallway for all 4 days I was there, no vacuuming in the hallway either? The mold on the ceiling of the bathroom was the worst part of all. It looked like someone "repaired" the ceiling in the bathroom but didn't paint over the patches and mold was all over the unpainted joint compound. I remember Comfort Suites being better in the past.

It would be nice if they had a shuttle going to one of the casinos at least, but they do not. We had an issue with loud neighbors and they were accommodating to us and moved us to another room. That room was nice, however we discovered some small ants crawling on the coffee table and floor which was a little gross. We did bring it to their attention when we left. The breakfast was good and appreciated.

Run away you arent a person your a room number..

Our trip was for our 25th wedding anniversay. First we requested maid sevice every 2 days during our 6 day stay. We got it ONCE. One day our room keys stopped working... Needed to have battery replaced as well as keys...Another day we were relaxing in the living room..large bang.…light feel off ceiling in the dining room. Property needs work and general upkeep...would i stay again....no. would i recommend property...no. staff knew us on sight as our room number...307.. i fell thats all we were was a room number.…

This is my second stay here with my husband. The hotel is basic but perfect for what we needed. We wasn't looking for a bunch of bells and whistles just a decent, clean, and comfortable place to stay for the weekend the was close to both Foxwood. Mohegan Sun and some seaside restuarants we like. Also, their breakfast free wasn't too bad either (it was more than the basic continental breakfast). We will stay here again!

This was a quick one night stay over as we were visiting family. The area seemed safe. Check in was easy and the staff were quite friendly. The room was very dated, with popcorn ceilings and older furniture. It was spacious, though, and the bed was very comfortable. The AC worked well, and the room was quiet. Furnishings had dings, scratches, and dents. Our room came with an iron, ironing board, mini fridge, and coffee maker. The internet was perfect. The hotel offered a free breakfast, which consisted of a buffet-style menu of eggs, sausage, waffle maker, bagels, muffins, etc. For a one or two night basic stay, it was perfect. If you happen to be looking for a more upscale setting, this may not be the hotel for you.
