RUN!!!!!

The room was extremely dated, which is okay BUT we liked no less than a hundred ants in or bathroom and kitchen area. The linens probably haven't been updated in years. The pillows were wafer thin. They ran out of towels and washclothes and we ended up using pool towels on our last day because the towels they promised never showed up. Multiple light bulbs were out in the room. Definitely a poor experience in a dirty room with a lack of upgrades. Go somewhere else.

Cheaper price but not worth it

Do not stay in this hotel if you like hot water for your shower or are used to staying in 3-5 star hotels! We made a last minute reservation at the Bonita Beach as the location was decent and the price was good. But cheaper price is definitely what you get! Positives - ample covered parking, room was spacious, full size fridge in room, decent size bathroom with large counter space, and beach (which was very nice) was a very short walk past the end of the parking area. Negatives - 3 times there was no hot water across two days!!, front desk staff were not helpful, no AC in elevators or in the hallways, indoor pool makes everything hot along with the glass rooftop (stupid idea to put that in!), carpet is ripping in hallways, couch and mattresses need to be replaced in hotel room, and we got a ripped towel (time to replace all of them!). This is definitely a 1 star hotel and the company that owns it doesn't care about the upkeep or making improvements because if there are people who get annoyed about their stay and don't return, there are just others who will take their place. Find somewhere else to stay! Spend the extra money to get into a Holiday Inn, Quality Inn or Hilton!

Pls do not stay at this property. The service from the hotel manager was terrible. The only upside from staying here was the close distance to the beach. Unfortunately, it was a terrible stay. The hotel was very dirty. When we had complained about it, we were told house keeping would come clean and they never showed up. There was mold on the shower lining, dirty walls, floors were not vacuumed, dust all over the vents and for having asthma that is unsafe. We asked for a refund through Expedia and the front desk and got denied. We also did not have hot water for the whole stay we were there. We called the desk twice and were told they would follow up with us and they never did. Our room key also stopped working. For the price they ask it is not worth it. Pls don’t waste your hard earned money on this place. The manager was not empathetic and not once tried to accommodate or solve any problem.

Highways robbery for a rundown filthy and very hot establishment..that uses curtains for bed toppers. And has a portable AC unit that is rigged through a piece of dry wall stuff in balcony door..in which won't close properly. There is no tread in bathtub so it gets slippery..the place is dirty..the pool is concrete on the inside and you get scuffed up easily. They pick which hours the arcade and pool are open and don't abide by the hours they state. Most of the staff don't speak English which is an issue. And housekeeping came in our room and went through our things. The parking garage is sketchy and very tight spots to get in and out . As well as tiles missing from the roof. The balcony is not private. The people who do check ins were friendly and that's the only good thing about this place. It's expensive..they don't offer any breakfast and you are on 81st Street far away from everything fun . U need a car to get around for sure as walking isn't an option it's busy with crazy drivers.

Staff was great. Hallways were so hot. Pool smelled like urine and was so cloudy and dirty. Gym was filthy. 86 degrees and nothing to clean equipment so it is all streaked with sweat. Hallway and pool bathrooms did not have soap, only dishwasher soap. Kitchens in Roma no longer supply papertowels, cutlery, etc

There was mold on ceiling in my room 4 th floor. Ocean view window had debris and bugs all over it. Shower curtain seemed old don’t think they ever change them or wash them. Bed was comfortable. Housekeeping woke me up both mornings I was there despite having do not disturb sign on door. No amenity in lobby didn’t see coffee or sitting area.
