I wanted to cancel, but they wouldn't let me, and on top of that, they charged me for the stay even though I wasn't there. It's a disgrace, especially since the website says you can cancel anytime. They told me that if it wasn't within 48 hours, there was nothing they could do. So I don't know what to do. They charged my card even though I wasn't in the room.

Hash browns were cold and hard and I was looking forward to those the most. I got someone else’s omelet, and it wasn’t even that busy. I still ate it coz I didn’t want wait again lol

Hotel lobby, floors, dirty, and unkept. Rude people working at the check-in desk. I would never stay here again.

Breakfast seemed a little different this time around. There were really long lines and slow service. One of the kitchen workers were dancing and singing in the omelette line instead of helping. We had to ask for plates, and the food wasn’t as fresh as it usually is. The two hour customer appreciation on Saturday was lacking a lot of its normal food. It seemed like they had leftover potato salad, and instead of chips and salsa. The chips were potato chips and salsa. It just seemed hastily put together. Front desk staff were awesome. The hotel was clean as always.

We picked this hotel because it is close to UNMC where our family member was in the hospital . Embassy has always offered everything we needed during... Safe parking, on site cooked to order breakfast , evening cocktails and reception. Larger rooms with comfortable, clean beds. Mini fridge, microwave & wet bar. That is NOT what we got here 👎 Parking was $30 a night and the extremely rude attendant accused me of trying to not pay ... Their new app was not working and he said... " I know what you're trying to do, you're not getting your keys until you pay" then back peddled when he figures out HIS mistake... but did not apologize. We upgraded our room but it was rather small! Fridge didn't work, carpets were dirty, bathroom floor was not mopped, shower wouldn't drain & the toilet didn't flush. Furnishings were worn and needed replacement. Sadley ,being that we were there visiting a sick relative at UNMC , I didn't have time to address any of these things at the moment. Breakfast was very subpar foods that weren't prepared well . Dining room seating was so stained, I chose to stand ! Cocktails & reception...Gross communal bowls of goldfish, pretzels & chips. A big bucket of ranch dip , old carrots and brown broccoli. We passed! Everything was a huge letdown and disappointment. If you're expecting all the amenities they offer, you might look into another hotel.
