Clean, close to station

Our room was larger than our other Japanese hotel experiences. It was clean and so close to the station that it is impossible to miss. Convenient grocery and take away options nearby, as well as restaurants. I was visiting family in Ishiyama, one JR stop away, which was very convenient.

The room was spacious and clean. The staff was friendly and helpful and held our bags since we arrived in Kyoto before check in time. The hotel was conveniently located near a train station and several convenience stores. Only complaint was that the bathroom was on a steep step that was not labeled. My friend and I stumbled on it a couple times before getting used to it.
