Welcome to Face in the Wind!
Newly completed construction, this home sits nestled among mature oaks and long leaf pines along a freshwater canal. It's a 3 minute walk to the beach, and has a bike path in front. See ospreys, woodpeckers, white squirrels, and foxes from the full length back porch or canal-side deck. The open floor plan is great for having guests join you on the large kitchen island or relaxing on the two full size couches. The dining table expands to accommodate your entire family.
If it’s raining outside, have fun with the included board games for adults and kids, puzzles, or enjoy a movie on the 58” TV with access to online streaming services.
The contemporary master suite features a built-in armoire, and through the barn door you'll find double sinks and a roomy walk-in shower.
Upstairs features two bedrooms joined by a jack-and-jill bathroom with full tub and double pedestal sinks. One bedroom has a queen bed with custom headboard, with a view of the gulf. The other bedroom has two twin beds and a view of the pine forest and canal.
In the closets you’ll find folding luggage racks, iron and ironing board, and a baby gate.
There is a gravel RV pad beside the house, with 50 amp electrical service, water, and septic hookup available.
The fully-stocked kitchen includes a combo Keurig pod/coffee pot, air fryer, large blender, pots, pans, bakeware, cooking utensils, mixing bowls, and serving platter.
Enjoy the beach with the included beach cart, 4 folding chairs, sand toys, boogie board, and beach umbrella. After your fun in the sun, enjoy the outdoor enclosed shower.

We have one motion-activated camera on the front porch, and one facing the bottom entrance/parking area. These will remain powered on during your stay.

What a wonderful visit! The beach was beautiful and only a short walk from the home. The back porch overlooking the water was so tranquil. The house has everything you would need plus the beds were super comfortable. Everything is extremely clean and the host was super helpful and kind. Stay here!

Face in the Wind - a great getaway!

We had a wonderful time at Face in the Wind! The house was beautiful and very clean. It is fully stocked and we had everything we needed during our stay. The owners are very responsive and provided lots of extra information on Alligator Point to make our stay the best possible. I highly recommend staying at Face in the Wind and look forward to coming back soon!

Perfect escape

Our stay was amazing! The check in process was very easy and the host was easy to communicate with. The house is newly remodeled and beautifully done. It had everything we needed for cooking in the kitchen. We loved having coffee on the back balcony overlooking the water and forest area. We used the fire pit to make smores and it was so peaceful. It felt like we were in a cabin in the woods while we were out in the back deck. The beach is only a 3 minute walk and the house came with a beach wagon which made it super easy for 2 adults and 3 small children to walk over with no hassle. The beach wagon even had kids toys and boogie boards. The host definitely thought of everything! The bike path in front of the house came in handy for my morning runs and walking the dogs. I can not say enough good things about this property. If you’re thinking about staying here, just do it and you won’t be disappointed. I would definitely stay here again.

Wonderfully Relaxing

The location is fantastic. It's a very quiet area. I loved sitting on the back deck watching the canal. We saw a gator, fox, jumping fish, and many birds all from the back deck. The walk to the beach is very short. It wasn't crowded and we liked watching the pelicans and dolphins. My kids had fun splashing around and looking at shells. The house is wonderful. You can really tell that the owners put so much thought into putting it together. We had everything we needed. I cooked dinner a couple nights and there were plenty of pots and pans and even seasonings. The wifi speed was good; I had no issues with online gaming during the rainy day we had. Everything was perfect. I'd like to suggest maybe adding a fish cleaning station? My husband and son fished a lot while we were there and it would have been useful. We loved our stay and if we visit down that way again, we'd definitely book this house again.

Wonderful home with so many thoughtful touches

Our stay was incredible. The house is bigger than it looks in the pictures. The fire pit overlooking the water was a favorite spot to sit. The owners thought of everything. Our friends brought their 5th wheel and loved the location right next to the house. The kitchen has a huge island with lots of storage and was well stocked with everything you need for cooking a large meal. The living room was comfortable and had games for the entire family. The mattresses were very comfortable and they had plenty of linens. Everything was spotless and organized. It was an easy walk to the beach and the bike path runs right in front of the house so the kids loved that. I’d definitely rent this place again.

Great House Great Island!

Here's a hidden gem for anyone looking for a wonderful quiet get away! House was completely new & on trend! Clean & comfortable! Had everything we needed! Great location a short walk to the beach! Owner was promptly responsive. Alligator Point is a beautiful, quiet, private island. We will definitely put this on our go to get away list for the future!

Beautiful house and great location

This house makes it so easy to relax! Tons of comfortable outdoor seating and it’s so quiet which makes it the perfect escape from the real world. The kitchen is the best equipped I’ve ever seen in a vacation home, and my husband fell in love with the bbq grill. Everything you could think of has been provided, and there’s even a few things provided you didn’t even realize you’d want or need until you see them (like a splatter shield in the microwave!) We will absolutely stay there again!

Face In The Wind is Beautiful

Not only is the house beautiful, it is very comfortable with everything included to make it so. The owner's have thought of everything, down to a very well appointed kitchen, bathrooms, and laundry room. I loved the view from the living room and kitchen, looking out past the deck to the beautiful natural setting with wind gnarled oaks and palm trees. It's a very short walk to the beach access and we saw a white squirrel on the walk back! We also saw bald eagles, many interesting birds, and deer. We loved our stay and hope to return very soon!!

Great home with RV hookup

We enjoyed our stay. We stayed for a week in the home and RV site. It is a nice walk to the beach. The wagon and beach toys were a great addition. The deck and fire pit were enjoyable. There was even an alligator visitor (in the water, of course).
