When we arrived at the Shores of Panama, which was quite early as we had an early flight, we were unable to leave our bags anywhere at the resort until our check in time. They do not accommodate that, so keep that in mind and plan accordingly. We did not rent a car, however still had to pay the 85 parking/wristband charge! We ended up grabbing chairs at the pool with all of our bags next to us for 5 hours. After those 5 hours, at 4 pm, we went up to our unit to check in and it had not been cleaned at all! Beds were stripped, food in fridge, and a disgusting drink with a pineapple was left in the toilet. We immediately contacted our host and housekeeping arrived within an hour or so. Luckily we were traveling with friends who had the unit next to ours so were able to at least bring our luggage there. It took over an hour for housekeeping to completely clean the unit, but they did do a spotless job. We finally settled in somewhere around 6:30 pm after a very long day! All that being said, the rest of our trip was wonderful! The unit is beautiful and exactly as pictured with spectacular views from the balcony!! The pool is amazing although it was not heated so pretty cold. The hot tub was not working for a few days. The tiki bar and restaurant in the pool area were awesome! Food was delicious! The beach is breathtaking with white sand and crystal clear water! All in all our stay was wonderful after our fiasco first day and I would recommend this place.

Fun but…

The condo itself met all our needs. The elevators at this property were terrible. And that parking garage…… I would not recommend staying any higher than floor 7. Not having an assigned parking spot made it a little more difficult. We had to park on floors higher because no available parking on our floor. Overall we had a great time. There was no where to unpack in the “2nd bedroom” which was really bunk beds with a tiny closet. Mattresses were not comfortable at all. However we would definitely go back. We have gone to Panama City Beach several times and this was the most fun we have had. Loved loved the location and all the things offered at the condo. Coffee shop was wonderful!
