Welcome to your 30A family getaway in this cozy carriage house in Seacrest Beach West. Boasting a kitchen, large living room and sleeping for 4. The open main living area includes a sitting area facing a large HDTV, a dinner table with seating for 2, and a brand-new kitchen including refrigerator, stove, oven, and microwave.
Sleeping for 4 available between the 2 king bedrooms. Each bedroom has it's own en suite bathroom with state-of-the-art standup showers. This carriage house is just steps from the beach and located near Alys Beach, Seacrest and Rosemary to the east with The Hub located to the west.

House Rules

**The primary renter must be at least 25 years old**
**No units will be rented to vacationing students or young adults under 25 unaccompanied by a responsible parent or guardian at a ratio of three (3) children/young adults to one (1) adult over the age of 25**

This easygoing beach neighborhood is the perfect place to escape for a beach vacation. Spend a day wandering through the shops and sights of Seacrest — you'll spot everything from gorgeous dune lakes to gourmet restaurants. Then, unwind with a stroll along Seacrest's sugar-white sand.
You can find historic Alys Beach 0.5 miles east. Slightly further east you can enjoy the lively community that gathers in Seacrest's Peddler's Pavilion. Sip coffee on an outdoor patio, stock up on homemade sweet treats, or rent a bicycle and go exploring. With wide-open green spaces and plenty of ecosploring opportunities, this beach neighborhood is a perfect fit for active vacationers.

Review

My friend and I were very disappointed in how a mold situation was handled. We chose this property based on having two bedrooms and two bathrooms, along with the proximity to the beach. When the first day mold was discovered and not handled at all, it was extremely disappointing. Management said they would send someone out and never did. We both have health conditions that left us sharing a bed downstairs to prevent further mold exposure. Had we known we would be sharing a bed, we could have saved money with a one bedroom rental. The master fan light flickered on and off several times the second night in the middle of the night, and, also changed fan speeds. This scared us having lights turn on and off in the middle of the night. We never mentioned the light issue to management since they were not even concerned with mold. The property itself was a great location and size. They had two bikes to use during your stay, which we loved. We were just very disappointed as we hoped it would be our yearly rental spot.

Things that were unappealing

Problem w/lock Missing toaster, coffee maker, hair dryer and iron. The management was all over it. When we got home that day there was 4 boxes by our door. Very impressive! One more thing. I didn’t like looking at the cement blocks and the mess next door.

Great time

We had a great stay here. The place is beautiful and great location. Only thing is, it’s a guest house steps away from the home. You aren’t allowed to park in the driveway, you have to park on the street. But we were okay with this.

Great location but lacks privacy

Overall we had a great experience. However, the unit was not clean upon our arrival. There was hair (yuck!) on the shower wall from a previous guest and dirt on the bathroom door. Also, there was black grease on all the light switches. Assuming this was from a Careless maintenance person. It took the management company over two days to get someone out to clean. While the unit itself is beautiful, it does lack counter space in the kitchenette, and there is an overall lack of privacy on this property. We love natural light but found ourselves shutting the shades for privacy. There is also NO W/D, which is a must-have when at the beach. The owners of the main house were home during our stay, and at times it was a bit awkward walking past them while they enjoyed dinner. We also surprised the owner when we arrived, who wasn’t aware the carriage house had been rented. Four adults would be tight. Beach access is close, but we encountered some owners guarding the beach despite the signs stating that we had access to the private beach.
