Overall, our stay was enjoyable, and the property is located in a pleasant neighborhood with friendly residents. We especially appreciated the short walk to the beach and the nearby pizza place, which was a great convenience. However, we did experience a few challenges during our stay. The air conditioning stopped working and the interior became uncomfortably hot rather quickly. It took about 20 minutes to receive a response from the owner, and we feel a direct contact number should be provided for urgent matters instead of relying solely on VRBO messaging. Maintenance arrived approximately 45 minutes later and informed us the unit needed Freon. Although the air wasn't very cold, setting it to 72 degrees made it tolerable. Unfortunately, the stove was non-functional despite our attempts to reset it. As a result, we had to purchase an air fryer and relied on the outdoor grill for cooking. There was also a persistent septic odor throughout the home, particularly in the master bathroom. Additionally, the laundry room became extremely hot when running the washer and dryer, so we could only do laundry at night to maintain a comfortable temperature in the house. A few minor inconveniences included the absence of a dustpan, no information about trash pickup, and the resulting trash buildup. Despite these issues, we were generally pleased with our stay and appreciate the opportunity to visit. Thank you.
