There wss a surprise $15 parking fee at check in. The elevator smelled like dead fish and made a scary noise between the 3rd and 4th floors. The room was tidy but not fresh. Overall a shabby property. If I was a drunk spring breaker it would be fine. I wanted an on the beach experience and was not disappointed in that regard. But would not recommend for more than one night.

You get what you pay for: it’s a 2 star hotel. The staff is extremely friendly/professional, and that’s half the battle. The place is old, it’s run down. The walls are thin and you can hear everything outside. It’s an old hotel, but if you’re there for 2-3 days it’s a decent stay. My 5 year old and I came for 3 nights and the place did its job. I preferred to stay in Rosemary Beach but I wasn’t going to pay that price. We were 4.6 miles from Rosemary and Inlet beach, we rode the electric bike we rented along the 98 to Rosemary Beach, it was super safe. Best thing about this place is, it’s right on the beach and super cheap. If you’re looking for luxury this isn’t it, if you’re looking for convenient and affordable, this is your place.

Older hotel that needs remodeling. Safe, clean and functional. Good for families. Location fantastic. Amazing view and easy beach access. Restaurant Grill questionable - the fire alarm was chirping and could be heard through outdoor area. Multiple food options in surrounding area.

Lady at the desk was sweet, but not informative. She was new and I assume, not properly trained. But very sweet and wanted to help. The room said ocean front, it was actually ocean front for the hallway, my room was not ocean front, just the hallway. I paid extra for that. I had to pay an extra $35 for early check in when I know the hotel was pretty much empty. I felt unsafe as a solo travler. I was very creeped out by the people I saw at night. I could hear them next door clear as day. The hotel itself was so beat up and hardly felt clean. The toylet didnt' flush most of the time. The bed was not comfortable. The towels were so rough. I actually left a day early to stay at another hotel, I felt that uncomfortable and that unsafe. It was not a resort, it was an unloved abandoned motel.
