My first time at the flamingo hotel,the price is right for the condition of the hotel. It was clean with lots of room with the kitchen and couch it felt plenty big.The view from the balcony is amazing. Parking across the street was a little inconvenient but only at certain times. Lots of stuff around to do with having to drive everywhere.

They make it look nice on the photos when you book. When we arrived we had to switch rooms 3 times, bc the filthiness and I’m not picky AT ALL, about things like that when staying in an already cheap hotel room, but this was just past that. Also the bed was broke, when you sat on it it tipped over everytime. The tv wouldn’t work. Then the toilet handle broke. Dirt and grime on every inch of every room I was in. The parking is terrible, have to cross the street everytime with no crosswalk. The elevator took so so long, and when you got on, it makes a loud clanking noise like it’s about to fall off track. Also a big thing for me is we put a do not disturb bc we don’t like to be bothered, and the maid came in 2 days in a row, once without knocking and I was so mad. So what’s the point of the sign? I will never be back, and wouldn’t recommend this place unless it’s a last resort.

It's in the middle of everything you want to do in walking distance, or a short 15 to 20 minutes drive to Papa Joe's Pontooons rentals trips to Shell Islaand Aboard the GrandMe're. Time out of your day is 4 hours.

I wish they had more handicapped parking in front of the building. The beds were comfortable and having a little kitchen was nice. The bathroom was kind of small, but loved the water pressure in the shower. The ac worked great. Could use a little updating, but it was comfortable for the price.

Flamingo hotel review.

Staff didn't come empty our troff and was overflowing with water, was told multiple times. Staff did not supply with towels. Staff did not leave basket for wet towels like supposed to. Staff was friendly but was not much helpful. Regardless, the room was clean and the beds where comfortable.

We really liked the property. The staff was great. i had a pet room with the city view however it was still super clean and nice. The wifi wasn’t the best over there though. The pools and the hot tub was very nice. Great access to the beach.

Pets stay free

I picked this hotel because pets stay free and I was bring two dogs. I arrived very early on a Friday and unfortunately a room was not available yet. I was allowed to use the bathroom outside of the lobby twice so I could change. After a few hours on the beach I was able to check in. The rooms where pets are allowed to stay is across the street. On Saturday my dogs were accused of barking loudly and incessantly. However, this wouldn't have been possible because I was gone half the day with both dogs at the beach. We came back around 2:00 and took a nap. We woke up and I took them for a short walk. When I came back to the room I didn't close the door all the way as the door was closed enough that my friend would need to turn the handle to open it. While standing in the living room and giving my dogs a treat they began to bark. They could see a woman pass by the window and the corner of the curtain was pulled back. She kept peeking in the window and tried to open the door. I immediately slammed the door shut so my dogs couldn't get out. After getting my dogs out of the way I stepped outside to ask if I could help her. She didn't introduce herself, have a uniform on or name badge. She said their was a complaint that my dogs have been barking all day. I explained we had been at the beach and she said I need to be aware of neighboring rooms. I told her to check 2 rooms down to the left that had a dog and cat. The loud barking dog was actually coming from downstairs.

I booked a room without any indication it was not in the hotel on the beach - it was the pet friendly motel across the street. I did not bring a pet, however I should have brought a leash for the pet sized roaches.

The first night we stayed across the road, at the non-beachside and it nasty! The room itself was plenty big enough, but nasty. The next night the room we stayed in was extremely small, the bathroom was the worst, you had to turn sideways to walk to the toilet. Once you sat down you were literally nose to the wall. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.
