This highly exclusive villa can host up to 8 persons and has it all: usable space of 201m² and refined high-end equipment, in a tasteful blend of Tuscan heritage and modernity. The villa is part of the main farm building and has a huge private patio of 145m², with sofa-relax area and BBQ.

Ideally situated at a stone’s throw from Volterra and San Gimignano, Monte Casone is a veritable haven of peace blessed with a view which is worthy of the most beautiful of postcards. Rest assured, you will experience moments of complete fulfilment, which you will be happy to share with your loved ones in the large overflow swimming pool or during unforgettable evenings with a good glass of Brunello wine.
Whether you are a golfer, a walker, a passionate historian or whether you are simply looking for peace and tranquillity, you will find what you are looking for in Monte Casone.

HOLIDAY ACCOMMODATIONS UNLIKE ANY OTHERS

The Pendolino villa (201m2) and the Frantoio cottage (104m2) are located within the farm complex, whereas the Moraiolo stand-alone cottage (98m2) is to be found on the site of an old hayloft. Each accommodation has a furnished private patio.

The three spacious lodges enjoy superior privacy and are designed and equipped to make you feel at home. From the Nespresso machine to Netflix and the Bose portable speaker, you will find everything you need for your well-being.

COMFORT ALL YEAR ROUND:

Monte Casone can welcome you all year round with the highest level of comfort and respect for the environment. To achieve this the farm holiday accommodation has been renovated recently with green technologies which have brought the buildings to the highest level of energy performance (A+).
Extremely efficient and comfortable in winter (up to 24°C in every room), the geothermal system uses the under-floor piping equipment for cooling purposes in summer. This technology is healthier and more comfortable than flowing cold air. The temperature inside the accommodation is typically kept around 8°C to 10°C cooler than peak outside temperature. Also, all bedrooms windows are equipped with mosquito nets, so as to take maximum advantage of night coolness.
The use of these technologies, which is extremely rare in this region of Italy, offers you the possibility of visiting Tuscany out of season and thus to avoid overcrowding in the high season in the popular tourist destinations.

Amazing property; spotless and elegant with stunning design, amenities, infinity edge pool, view, and style. Wonderfully equipped kitchen, full laundry and beautiful outdoor areas to enjoy the Tuscan countryside. Great hosts and amazing in all areas. Spacious and comfortable and was so nice we enjoyed many days just lounging at the villa. Well worth the drive and wouldn’t hesitate to return! Absolutely amazing home! Wonderful welcome basket of local goodies was a very nice touch.

Paradise in Tuscany

The property was absolutely gorgeous! We enjoyed the sunsets, the views, the pool, the kitchen, the patios..everything! It was not difficult to find, but it was helpful to have a car to explore the surrounding area. The onsite manager was responsive and made check in easy. Already thinking about a future return trip!

Amazing property in Tuscany!

Our group of 5 had an absolutely amazing stay at this beautiful property. The villa is spacious and beautifully designed. The outdoor dining table and lounging areas provide great views of the countryside, and the pool is stunning. The location is definitely rural (which we wanted), but was a great base for day trips to Siena, Volterra, Pisa, and even Cinque Terre. Would highly recommend!!!!

Gorgeous property in magnificent location

We loved our stay at Monte Casano. The location is jaw-droppingly beautiful and the house was so comfortable, exactly as advertised. I cannot say enough about this property! Monte Casone met all of our expectations and more. The grounds and villa was absolutely stunning. There’s no word to describe this amazing paradise. If you want to feel and live Tuscany this is the place to go. The Villa was exactly what we were expecting. Clean, well decorated, well equipped and the view is just stunning. We even decided to stay home one day to really enjoy the pool.

Monte Casone is so incredibly beautiful, both inside and out! The pictures don’t do the property justice. We loved every minute of our stay - well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, views from every window, and communication with the property owners and manager was outstanding! Perfect location for exploring Tuscany

This is a beautiful property thoroughly enjoyed by three couples. The views of the Tuscan hills surrounding the property are expansive. The location was great for our exploration of Tuscany which included day trips to San Gimignano, Siena, Volterra, Florence, Lucca, Peccioli, Ghizzano , Lari and other destinations in surrounding area. The property is secluded with a partially paved and gravel road for access but even our driver with a large Van was able to traverse same with no significant problem. The Villa is loaded with amenities and was a wonderful home away from home.

Breathtaking views

We couldn't have been more thrilled with this accommodation. The caretakers, Nick and Lisa were extremely nice and helpful with suggestions on dinner, wine tastings, and directions(as the GPS didn't work so well in our car). The house was very clean and beautiful. You do need a car for this location but the views and privacy are well worth it. Thank you for your hospitality.

Villa in the heart of Tuscany

We absolutely loved the villa and it met all of our expectations. It is beautiful on the inside with all modern accessories we needed except there was no freezer and no ice. We had to buy ice and place in the refrigerator. It melted by morning. This property is surrounded by an incredible view of the surrounding hills, valleys, fields and olive groves. The sunsets are stupendous and we saw a double rainbow over the pool after a rain shower one afternoon. It is remote and somewhat difficult to get to. You will need a driver (as we had) or a car to leave if you wish to tour. I highly recommend this property to anyone who wishes to experience rural Tuscany.

In the heart of the Tuscan countryside

We stayed in main house - facilities were first class - everything you needed was there. When we needed something Sara provided it quickly. All the rooms were very comfortable- even though it was 33-37 degrees everyday - the house cooled down that sleeping was not a problem. The pool was sensational- but I suppose it is pot luck who is renting the other 2 houses. We had great fellow renters so the pool was a great place to cool off. The large TV room was used once during a thunderstorm- great fun and the table for outside eating was around the side - so very private. Visited Pisa, Firenze, some local villages and hill top towns - all so interesting. Golf played - the Mountain Course was great but very pricey, they have tennis and Padel as well. We had a great week - thanks to the team. Jerry & family

Lovely villa

The villa and view were very nice, the road to the villa was a little challenging as was getting through the small village to get to the villa. We had a storm one night and alarms went off and we later found out there had been a fire and damage to the thermal cooling system which meant we were without cooling and hot water for several days, the host did compensate us for our inconvenience. We hired a private chef to cook for us one night and it was very nice and recommend it. One note the listing mentions it is provided with thermal cooling and lists it as A/C when in fact it is not like US A/C, it would be ok for cooler months but not for summer months if you are used to US A/C, you would need to open the windows at night to get comfortable which we could not do as my wife has a medical condition. overall a nice villa with great views.

THE HOUSE IS EXTREMELYWELL EQUIPED FOR EVERYONE WITH WIFI AND LARGE SCREEN TV IN A LARGE FAMILY ROOM WITH SEATING FOR 7 ADULTS. CHECK IN AND OT WAS EXTREMELY EASY AND SIMPLE.THE HOME IS COMPLETELY RENOVATED AND ACCOMPLISHED BY FINE CRAFTSMAN OF WOODWORKING AND MASONRY WORK. ENJOY A GLASS ON FINE BRUNELLO WINE, WHICHCAN BE SOURCEDLOCALLY ON THE BACK PORCH. CONVIENT TO ALL TUSCANY LOCATIONS. LOCAL GOLE COURSE HAS A GOOD RESTAURANT WE HAD LUNCH AT. WILDLIFE SIGHTINGS INCLUDED NUMEROUS PHESANTS, RABBITS, AND DEER. KITCHEN IS FULLY MODERN AND WELL EQUIPPED. ROUGH ROAD GETTTING INTO THE PROPERTY ANSD RECCOMMMEND YOUR INITIAL ARRIVAL BE DURING HE DAY FOR EASE OF FINDING. ONCE THERE YOU WILL BE REWARDED!!!

First Class experience.

This is a truly special property which we thoroughly enjoyed and highly recommend. We were three couples looking for a relaxing stay after busy days in hectic Amalfi coast. Here it was like being in a zen spa! The infinity pool with views of iconic Italian country side was a total amazement. The pool is shared with two other rentals on same property. Three bedrooms with two baths en suite were good for our group. We cooked in every night and the kitchen was well suited to a group our side with a perfect outdoor seating area for meals. Recommend you do your shopping before you get to the villa as it is a 20 minute drive into the grocery store in Peccioli. Be sure to purchase basic condiments for meal prep. The Villa is indeed well off the main road but this was part of the charm of the experience for us. Such peace and quiet at night! Property manager was very helpful and advised us of some unusual visits in the area which we enjoyed, to include the Vespa Museum!

Beautiful

We had a very happy stay at this home. I am someone who notices quality levels of things and I am very amazed at how every detail of the house and property are of the highest quality with never any expense spared. The pool area and views are beautiful. The outdoor dining table under the pergola was like an area from a movie or travel show. At times the view seemed so beautiful that it felt unreal - But it is real. I enjoyed the nearby small town of Ghizzano. It is very non-touristy and a lovely place to walk around or stop and have some espresso. I am from the USA, and I loved my time in Italy and the beauty and the people. I am admittedly very spoiled when it comes to ease of getting a large variety of groceries. That was something I did not figure out how to do in this region. I am not saying that as a problem, as we were out most of the time for lunches and dinners and I think it is more of a different way of food shopping than what I am accustomed to. Of the Etruscan walled towns within an hour or two, I liked Voltera the best. We also did an hour drive to Pisa to the train station and took the train to La Spezia to visit Cinque Terre. That was a long day but worth it. We went to Florence by catching the train from Pontedera. And also drove to the winery at San Gimignano where we greatly enjoyed the wine and the town. The owners were quickly responsive to messages. And the property manager, Sara, was also very sweet and responsive. Thank you.

Everything exceeded our expectations and I would highly recommend a stay at this villa to anyone considering to book it.
