We arrived to a full power failure, which was scheduled but were not informed til the day of arrival. Small breakfast buffet but food was not hot. Door to our room was not working properly so a struggle everytime. Realize new owners but they have a lot if work ahead if them.

The staff at this hotel was amazing. They went out of their way to help. Service like I have never had before, operating the elevator and walking us to our room and even opening the door for us! The lady on the desk went next door to find me a can opener I needed. During the free breakfast Jenny told me all about the area and what to see. She even showed me around the marina and helped me take pictures. I have never met a hotel staff as friendly and accomodating as them.

Great place to stay in Port Hardy

The people running this hotel are incredibly kind and helpful. Always a smile and a greeting when they saw us. The hotel is in a good location, you can walk to town, the supermarket or McDonald's etc. but there is also plenty of parking if you want to drive. The rooms are a bit dated but everything was very clean and comfortable,we had a kitchenette in the room which had everything you needed to cook a simple meal plus a coffee machine and microwave. The included breakfast was decent, and the staff worked hard to keep everything replenished and clean.

Had a fantastic stay, enjoyed the view of the harbour and some mountains. Had a delicious breakfast that was included. Only down side to the building is you could hear people walking on the upper levels but after 11pm it was very quiet.

Cold small snack as a "breakfast" a bit disappointed for what we paid for one night. Not much to do around, (was there on April) but I did enjoyed the quietness of Port Hardy. My room was ok, but washroom could have a better cleaning. Staff was friendly, but again, a yogurt, an orange and cold boiled egg as a "breakfast" was disappointed. My room had a nice view to the marine, and it was very quiet at night for a great sleep.

Great staff and bagged breakfast was excellent. Rooms need to be upgraded. Bed was super hard and floor was bleach stained. I still would stay there again.
