The staff was alright. The shower was good. The room was small with no closet. The exterior door would not close properly. There was a lot of traffic, motorcycle, siren and other noise. The bed was too soft. Breakfast is cereal, oatmeal, danish, toast and coffee. I would not stay here again.

When checking in there were obviously transient people who lived there carrying around boxes of clothes and talking to themselves. Pretty sure there were prostitutes. Hot Tub and Sauna did not work, it was dirty and rundown. Check in is 4 not 3. The only good thing was the girl at the front desk allowed me to cancel the reservation because the hot tub did not work, which was why I booked there. BAD PLACE!!!

Preventable Problems

The wait time to get into our room was longer than expected. We got there early and waited in the lobby, but the second room wasn’t available until around 4:30pm. The morning of our checkout was awful. No anti-slip anything in the bathtub. My husband slipped and almost fell down. In trying to prevent himself from falling he started to step out of the tub, bashed his shin against the side of the tub and opened up a 2” gash. He was bleeding pretty badly onto the floormat by the time I got to him. Then, same thing with a clean hand towel. I fortunately had a first aid kit and was able to stop the bleeding and get him bandaged up. We were in a hurry by then, to get to church with family. So, he did not want to go to urgent care. I’m thinking they would have put in 4 or 5 stitches. I used some butterfly bandages when we got home. Finally, I was running around getting him taken care of and when I finally sat down to put my socks and shoes on I noticed that the bottom of my feet were just black with dirt from the floor. I made the staff aware of all of this. They were very apologetic. Still though, these are preventable problems!

First the app tells me I can check in at 3 but when I get here they tell me no I can’t check in until 4. Then I finally check in at 4 and my room stinks like staleness. There’s people wandering all around the property digging through trash cans. People blasting music at the front enterance trying to get the attention of the people inside the lobby. Definitely not worth the money!

Police were always at the Day's Inn in Port Richey. The hotel in Punta Gorda was excellent. The hotel in Cape Coral was a party house.

This is apparently a home for half of the people staying here. Lots of drug addicts walking around, fentanyl’ed out of their minds. Lots of suspicious activity going around in cars after dark. The rooms were disgustingly dirty, bought our own bleach for the bathtub, needed our own mop for the floors. The pool was dirty and the hot tub was worse. Steam room didn’t work. Breakfast was a pancake maker and yogurt. Half of the lights in the room didn’t work. 2/5 nights we stayed our room key didn’t work and each time had to be keyed in with a physical key by staff before they fixed it. Definitely wouldn’t recommend to people with families or looking for something clean. Definitely cheap but for a reason.

So Smokey it burns

Suppose to be a non smoking room but isn’t I am allergic and cannot sleep cause I cannot breath due to being stopped up my eyes burn from it. The smell is horrible.

Poolside, Room Felt Like It Was

The stay was average, which was further aggravated by the fact that I forgot to request 1st Floor Access, since I usually travel using a road bike/road trailer. So I had to climb the stairs carrying my road bike and road trailer, up/down and into my room. Also, maybe my inexperience with offseason poolside reservations, it was difficult to compensate for the HIGH humidity within the room and under the covers. I won't be using poolside reservations in the future, to see if this makes ANY difference in comfort.

Terrible hotel room

The hotel room had dirty floors, bathrooms, cockroaches, and a bad smell. Additionally, we asked for 2 beds but they gave us one we had to call room service to give us a couch bed, which was very dirty.
