Run Down in Lander Town

This hotel is extremely run down and smells like weed. The door handle fell off while we were there, and it is just not well taken care of. We did not feel that comfortable having our kids there given the smell and condition.

Check in was lack luster, hot tub was heated only to 95 degrees, but not running, very dirty and full of algae. Bathroom floor was dirty and sticky. Room was spacious, but the fireplace did not work and the tv was small and not a smart tv. I would not rent a room here again.

Little disappointed

Very disappointed in the service. We stayed 4 days and day 2 they didn’t clean our room so I called and asked why. First the front desk girl said we didn’t put out the maid card, when I said there wasn’t a card in the room she back tracked and said they only clean every 3 days. When I asked about towels she said you can come get them. You would think this information would be disclosed upon check in.

Where is it?

We got a little confused pulling in. There is another building right next to it and it threw us off. The front desk clerk was very nice and professional. The room was nice and spacious, tub appeared dirty, no breakfast.

I/we have been staying here in the summer for many years. This year, like most, the rooms were clean, staff friendly and efficient. The pool and hot tub were working n clean, tho the pool was too cold—it felt like a mountain lake. The biggest issue was food service. The restaurant was closed, no mention of that while booking that I saw. Worse yet was the complimentary “breakfast” which consisted of a small brown bag with a small apple, small tasteless bar, and a bottle of water. This is not a breakfast and should not be called one, very unsatisfactory.

Staff were wonderful. No restaurant and no continental breakfast so you are on your own. No soap provided, only shampoo and a shower cap (?!). Cleanliness of rooms seemed okay until we found a packet of coffee and sugar behind a TV stand/dresser. It was quiet overall.

Very disappointed!

I stay often and usually stay in the front building and it’s excellent. However, this time I was in the back building and the bathroom door wouldn’t shut, The room smelled as did the whole back building.

The rooms are good sized and comfortable. The beds and linens are very comfortable. Our assigned room had not been cleaned and although staff immediately cleaned it and the hotel discounted our room $20, it was a rather unsettling experience.
