It needs a remodel. There are large cracks in the ceiling, damaged doors, and old stained furniture. The room was clean but how old everything is made it appear not clean. The strong smell of chlorine was bad and I’m not even close to the pool!

There were blood stains on the pull out mattress and no mattress liner. I saw this when putting sheets on for my child since they just give you sheets to put on yourself. When I asked for a mattress liner they said they weren’t sure if they had a mattress liner and would deliver one to my room if they did. When I asked to cancel my reservation because of this, they said that I could not since I could only cancel in advance. When I asked if I could cancel due to unsanitary conditions after seeing the room they said I would lose our money since we booked through Expedia. The main check in staff was also very rude about everything. They gave us a room that was slightly cleaner with no blood stains, however pretty shotty conditions. I will not stay here again.

It’s a Best Western

Room was fine, pretty standard. The biggest issue was laundry. I received a towel with brown stains on it. Thankfully it was a floor towel and I noticed before I used it. I don’t know how that gets through but I don’t even want to think about what it was.

We have been up here numerous times for my appts at Mayo Clinic and we always stay at this hotel. Staff here are so helpful and friendly. I can’t say a single bad thing about this place or the staff. Highly recommend you won’t be disappointed. Clean, safe, quiet. I travel with my husband and we both enjoy this place. Definitely returning here.

Room key didn't work 3x. Lost a family member to cancer at Mayo so we arrived around 1:30am. One younger kid working, no one else to help. Room dirty but we were exhausted. This room was double the cost of so many others so we expect more. Sink plugged, no water pressure in shower and tub not cleaned. Carpet sticky. Told by front desk in morning the mgr would call. Nothing yet. Told by kid that evening they would talk to us that morning, nope - not available. No comps, no help, just dumbfounded look after our horrible situation we had just encountered after not sleeping for 3 days. We stayed prior at Spark and it was WONDERFUL. Go to Spark people! This place, you can't call me back and make it right, don't care...you are in an area where people need accommodations due to difficult situations (Mayo) BE BETTER. You didn't care at all.
