Easily access this third-floor apartment by elevator. Once inside, you will be delighted by the fully furnished, elegant yet comfortable design. The apartment is bright, welcoming and quiet.
The kitchen is equipped with everything you need to create culinary masterpieces or quick meals on the way out to explore Rome. There is plenty of shelf and drawer space. The dining room table expands to seat 8.
After a long day exploring the city, unwind in the living room by sinking into the spacious armchair, or sit on the large sofa which converts into a double bed. A 50" TV is also at your disposal.
The bathroom is accessable from the living room and is easily reached from all the bedrooms. A sink, toilet, and Italian-style bidet complete the bathroom.
This roomy apartment has three bedrooms. The first is located off the living room. Access the other two bedrooms via the dining room. Each bed comfortably sleeps 2, as does the living room sleep sofa.
Feel cool and refreshed in summer with air conditioning in all rooms. Keep the chill out in winter with the independent heating system. Wi-Fi broadband internet is at your disposal. The apartment also contains extras like a washing machine, iron, and an ironing board.

A Night in Rome

This property was just as advertised. The apartment was very clean, plenty of room for a family of six, and comfortable beds. Communication with Alla was extremely easy. Key to building and apartment were available on app which was super convenient. Bathroom was huge and updated. I would highly recommend this apartment!!!

Great location and Apartment

We were all very happy with our stay! Communication was excellent and the location was perfect. We stayed with our 3 children (5,7,9) and everyone had a great time and felt we had plenty of space. I would definitely stay here again!

Fantastic Place Right in The Heart of Rome

This place was a real find! Everything from the well appointed bedrooms, to the kitchen to the comfy living room was fantastic. The neighbouhood could not have been better as Piazza Navona and Campo dei Fiori was practicly 5 minutes away. We loved the cute little shops and restaurants in the area, I would reccommend The Supplizio (Roman rice balls) place was downstairs and was great! The owners were always available and super helpful! We would definitely come back here again!

Amazing Apartment

This apartment was awesome for 7 adults and 1 toddler. It is in a good location to many sights and has lots of delicious food and a daily farmers market within a 5-10 min walk. Only having one bathroom was tough with so many people but it was all very clean and well kept. The power was tripped and we couldn’t find the reset breaker - the owner came within 30 min to reset it for us. The AC went out on the last night and we couldn’t get it to work so we were all sweating by morning but that was the only negative. WiFi was good for browsing but slow for any downloading. They helped set up transfer to the hotel which was great.

Absolutely perfect location. Perfect for our family. We truly appreciate the owner arranging our transportation from and to the airport. The only issue was the bathroom. Showering in the large tub was difficult for older guests. Getting in and out safely was an issue. Also, not enough water pressure to utilize the jetted tub.

Wonderful roomy apartment; air conditioning works wonderfully

The flat is in a great location; the kitchen has everything you’d need to make a gourmet meal. On the down side- it was missing some essentials; dish towel to dry dishes, paper towels/napkins. The only thing misrepresented was THERE IS NO DRYER. All your clothes are dried on a rack.

Great apartment in the center of Rome

The apartment was perfect for our family of 4. The adults had the master bedroom and each of the kids had a separate bedroom which they loved. A bit of street noise at night but that's to be expected in the center of the city. Did not really affect our sleep as we were tired after exploring Rome all day so everyone slept with no issues. Make sure you download WhatsApp as that is the best method to communicate with the person who will be checking you in.

Perfect location, very comfortable stay

This apartment was perfect for our party of two couple and a few grown kids. Each room has individual AC which is very important in the hot summer. If someone is sleeping in the living room, we suggest leaving the bedroom doors open with ACs on while out and about. This way the living area stays cool for sleeping. We also left the closest bedroom door open once all sleeping so that the person on the couch was comfy. I read a previous note about noise and was concerned I'll only yo find that there was no noise at all. We were very pleased with our quiet, cool and very lovely apartment. I also should mention that the owner was very helpful and made much effort to accommodate our early arrival. We felt like true guests. Finally there is a lovely, healthy, fresh salad and juice bar just steps to the right as you exit the building. I forget the name but is was perfect.

Great location

The apartment is located on a quiet street in a great central location. Not far from the tourist spots and good restaurants. I also loved that there was a coffe shop across the street t which was great for breakfast or an afternoon snack. The apartment is spacious and nicely decorated although it was not super modern or super charming. I loved that each bedroom had its own temperature control since the friends we were traveling with love strong air conditioning while we prefer fresh air. The owners are wonderful about communicating before the stay and had someone meet us to show us the apartment details. The negatives are the bathroom and the elevator. The shower is in a jacuzzi which is not easy to get in and out of without worrying about slipping. There is also a small step coming in or our of the bathroom which is a hazaard at night. (You can probabably tell I am from the US). Also, the elevator worked well until the last day when we had to use the key to open the doors. Again this is not something we are used to so it probably bothered us more than some. The price is very good as the 4 of us were able to stay in a prime Rome location for 1/2 the price.

Pass This One!

The apartment ac was not working in 1 bedroom. It was in the mid 80's during our stay and very uncomfortable. The management did not respond to my inquiries regarding the ac repair during our stay. The apartment was dirty. The apartment has a bar across the street where patrons stand outside and walk the alley between the buildings for what seemed to be all night long. There was a homeless man living in a sleeping bag outside the front door to the building. The car service that was supposedly confirmed for our departure provided the name and number of a driver that never responded to our messages, so we were forced to find alternate transportation to the airport. The manager of the apartment did not respond to my inquiries about the service until we were already in the airport standing at the gate. We would have missed our flight had we not made other arrangements.

Great Location.

Nice fourth floor. Three bedroom, one bath apartment. No air conditioning meant sleeping with the window open. Street noise until 3 am every night. You can walk to a lot of restaurants and bars from the property. Coffee shop and grocery store across the street. We did have communication issues with the owner and with Home Away customer service.

Great location for this property and good space for family of 4. Kitchen and living room worked well for us (and WiFi). Beds were double/queen were a good find as I have tall boys, and the shower and laundry worked well. Really appreciated the tips on restaurants etc. An easy walk to the Vatican.

When in Rome...

What a perfect place to experience Rome. As we planned our trip to Rome we wanted to not just visit Rome but we wanted to live in Rome. Luigi's place was absolutely perfect! Everything was within walking distance. We visited not only the major tourist places but we also walked the surrounding old neighborhoods. We shopped in the corner grocery store across the street and ate in neighborhood cafes off the beaten path. Sure it is an old building but the apartment is modern in every way needed. It has quirks but nothing problematic and I use quirks only because it was different from our normal. (For example we had to google how to make coffee in the pot. Lol!!) However if we wanted our normal we would have stayed in a hotel. We wanted Rome and we got it. we loved this place. All slept well every night (you do need earplugs if you are a light sleeper, it's a late night culture) and I would not hesitate to recommend this place to anyone. LUigi helped us in every way. He arranged travel and recommended amazing places to eat. He was just a phone call away and very helpful when we unexpectedly needed to change some travel plans. Grazie Luigi!! You truly helped make this a trip of a lifetime!!

Very nice apartment, centrally located. Great host!

This apartment was great. The location makes it an easy walk to all of the big ticket items in Rome. It has a nice kitchen and living room as well as 3 good sized bedrooms. The kitchen has all you need to cook and eat in, including coffee maker and microwave. The owner was very attentive, and had a listing of great restaurants, shops, bars, and attractions in the area. He also provided a cell phone which could receive incoming calls or call him directly any time. He speaks English fluently, and helped us decide between several different options of activities to do. Check in and check out was easy. There is a coffee shop and a Co-op grocery store right across the street. Having a washing machine was convenient, and we could have packed fewer clothes. Note that drying is by rack, which is provided. There is an elevator, but be aware that it is accessed by going up or down several stairs. I recommend looking into the MyTaxi app before coming to Rome. The free wifi in the apt made it possible to use the app to arrange for a taxi to pick us up right out front, and it seemed to cost less than just flagging one down. Uber is way more expensive. We definitely plan to stay either here, or in one of Luigi's other apartments on future visits. Thanks very much!!

Beautiful room in a perfect spot.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 4 night stay here with our family of 5 (kids: 9,13,16). We walked to the Pantheon, Coliseum, Spanish Steps & Vatican City. Loved the neighborhood feel to the area instead of the shopping district of the Spanish Steps location. Restaurants & boutique shops all around. Perfect spot for us. The room was very clean & comfortable with plenty of room. Thank you!

Absolutely perfect location and large enough for a family

We are a family of 6 traveling in Italy and the Banchi Apartment was perfect. The location is s 20 minute walk from absolutely everything! The grocery and church are on the same the block, cafes, coffee shops, wine shops, everything on the same street. Very comfortable and clean, three bedrooms and kitchen perfect for our family of 6. Everything was wonderful. There is one bathroom, but its truly not a problem, and thats from a mom with 4 kids. You will love this apartment.

Wish I had read all of the reviews

I really wish I'd read all the reviews; I only read the ones here, and not on other sites.. The good: location is excellent; right off Vittorio Emmanuel, and about 15 minutes walking to most sights. The 64 and 40 buses go by every 6 minutes, 3 grocery stores within a block and plenty of places to eat This apartment is on the 3rd floor (4th American) and there is an elevator. The decor was nice, and matches what is shown on the web. Closets in 2 of 3 bedrooms, the other one has dressers. The rest: WIFI worked great in the living room and kitchen. Did not work at all in 2 of the 3 bedrooms. There is air conditioning; it's all controlled by the same remote and turned on spontaneously in different rooms. This apartment has 2 bedrooms on the street, and it's quite noisy. The smallest bedroom overlooks the courtyard, but unfortunately, a restaurant is in the courtyard and the sounds of dining funnel up between 8pm and midnight every night. That's with the windows and shutters closed. Beds are typical rental beds (hard). Nice duvets and pillows (memory foam, not flat at all). Towels thin. The bathroom does not have a shower; it has a jacuzzi tub (didn't try the jacuzzi) with a showerhead that hooks up. It was pretty crusted over, so not a lot of water pressure. Nothing to block the water, so it goes everywhere. As a bonus, the bathroom window (no shutters) looks directly into the kitchen, so best to keep that in mind when planning showers. Heated towel rail did not work. When you book with VRBO, the apartment manager will send you an email telling you NOT to pay VRBO, but pay them cash on arrival. When I arrived, the greeter was adamant that I pay cash; I refused and brought up my VRBO inbox showing I paid. This resulted in a phone call to "management". Then, the greeter insisted I provide my credit card details, including 3 digit security code, for a "security deposit". I declined to do so also and after another call to "management", we were given the keys and left alone. The decor and location are nice, but the restaurant noise, bathroom situation and demands for cash payment/credit card details made this a property I can't recommend.
