Rotonda 23 - Loft in Pantheon is an exclusive apartment recently renovated and characterized by a modern and refined furniture. It is equipped with all the necessary amenities to make your your Roman stay comfortable. The apartment is in the heart of the historic center of Rome. From the entrance you can already admire the magnificence of one of the most appreciated monuments in the world: the Pantheon.
Rotonda 23 - Loft in Pantheon is located on the 3rd floor of a historic building with a lift. The apartment is on 2 levels: on the first floor there is the cozy living room the dining area, and a spacious kitchen complete with every accessory and appliance; On the second floor there is the very large double bedroom with a spacious bathroom with bathtub. You will also have a comfortable and spacious wardrobe.
Rotonda 23 – Loft in Pantheon is equipped with every comfort: fast wi-fi throughout the apartment, air conditioning, heating, complimentary toiletries, linens in the room and bathroom, hairdryer, iron and ironing board, Nespresso coffee machine, toaster, electric juicer, kettle, crockery, washing machine, Smart TV, books, board games, cards game.

We had an excellent experience here! Patrick was consistently responsive from the time of booking, and the check-in process was organized and efficient. The apartment was clean and comfortable. It was very centrally located (albeit in a heavily touristy area; it was convenient for us). A few minor points to consider —-the ceiling in the lofted area is very low - not a problem at my height, but even at 5’4 I had to duck in the shower a bit. One other thing I thought should have been noted in the description is that while there are windows, the apartment gets no natural light because the placement of the windows face walls of other parts of the building, and the listing pictures were much brighter than the actual apartment. Finally, the loft got a little warm at night and while they appeared to be an air-conditioning unit downstairs, I was unable to plug it in and use it (granted, I never messaged the owner to ask how because it was our last night, and it wasn’t too terribly hot — but something to consider if you’re staying in the summer months). All said- I would stay here again.

PROS -Our host was right on time to meet us with the key. He was present and available for assistance. Make sure you use "whatsapp" since that is how he reached us.-The location is literally next to the Pantheon, making other certain areas, like the trevi fountain and colosseum walkable. -The taxi stand is also right outside the building. -Central to many restaurants and shops. CONS -Very low celings in the loft. I am 5'3" and had no issues with toughing the celing. -Pull out sofa was loud. One move and it creaked. -Couches seemed very low/flat. Not the most comfortable. -Both pull out sofa and bed in the loft only had two pillows. They weren't exactly the nicest. Used towels and clothes to help sleep. -Bathroom is located on the 2nd floor /loft. -Picutres do not show the bath tub for a reason. It has an awful and partial curtain that cuts through the middle of the raised tub. It literally doesnt go around the tub. I would hit the curtain rod sitting below the celing- I am only 5'3". -I wish they had a dryer. Had a hard time drying washed clothes. -Description said they have a microwave, they do not -Do not rely on a taxi at the taxi stand for early airport deparures (before 730).

Perfect location for exploring Rome. Our daughter was finishing her study abroad program at UW Rome Center and this apartment was a quick five minute walk. We were right across from the Pantheon but never noticed the crowds as the entry was on the other side of the building. Great and affordable restaurants and cafes nearby.

Great Location!

Perfect location directly next to the Pantheon. Drawback was a low ceiling second floor, maybe 6 ft high. Bathroom is quite dated, when in shower anyone of normal height - I am 5 ft 9 in - cannot stand because the tub is too high and the ceiling too low. The unit was very clean. It certainly was a good stay!

Amazing location and communication

Literally 20’ away from the Pantheon. Walking is easy and recommended if you’re younger to go to the Colosseum and Vatican (~25 min in each direction). AC works. Andreas was super communicative and helpful during our stay!

We had a nice stay. The communication was excellent and they accommodated our late arrival and made arrangements for a private car to pick us up. The location was excellent - you walk out the front door and cross the sidewalk and your at the Pantheon. We felt safe and were able to walk to a lot of the major attractions or catch a taxi easily. Apartment was cute and spacious.

It is a nice property It does say on the VRBO Site that check in is 2 pm That is one reason we picked it. We were told when we got there 3 pm Patrick did try to get us in earlier than 3 pm Patrick was a great host and checked on us often.

This place was great. Everything within minutes including restaurants, food store, street food, banks, and taxi stand. Also, central to the city if you prefer to walk. Quiet neighborhood and friendly host. Coulld not have been better!

This is the closest you can stay to the Pantheon without being inside it! It’s literally next door and very convenient to walk to all the sites in the Old city. It has a large bed in the loft area upstairs and room for a couple others on a pullout in the living room. The kitchen is perfect if you wanted to cook a few meals but the area is full of great restaurants to try as well. The host was great in communicating with me on WhatsApp to arrange to get the keys and checked in regularly to see if we had any concerns. My only issue was that the ceiling height upstairs is around 6’1” and when taking a shower in the bath tub we had to kneel. So basketball players be warned 😁

Good property!

The outdoor property was spacious and clean, and the property manager was excellent in all communications. He even told my family about a church that we visited and enjoyed. Great place with an excellent location. The air conditioner struggled to keep up with the extreme heat but we had a very good experience.

Apartment was very comfortable and in a great location. All of the famous sites are within walking distance - even the Vatican and Colosseum (about 25-30 minutes), but there is a taxi stand literally right outside the door if you’d prefer that option (about €8-10 to each in June 2023). Despite its proximity to the Pantheon and a very crowded piazza, there was practically no noise inside the apartment. There are several nice (if a bit touristy) restaurants, pizzerias and gelato shops within a very short walk. A recently-opened Rome location of the famous Florence sandwich shop - All’antico Vanaio - was just around the corner. There was also a great grocery store 2 blocks away. Andrea, the property manager, texted daily to make sure we had everything we needed and was quick to respond when we texted him. A/C worked very well. On the negative side, the only bedroom and bathroom were upstairs where the ceiling was just 6 feet high, and the door between them was about 5’9”. I am 5’11” and hit my head multiple times. And anyone taller than about 5’7” will struggle even further fitting under the shower nozzle. Also, our teenager thought the sofa bed on the lower floor was a bit stiff. All in all, though, we enjoyed our stay.
