We used the valet parking upon arrival and was immediately met by the valet. He provided a link on my phone to retrieve the car as needed throughout my stay. Very convenient and fast. Front desk staff were professional and genuinely friendly. The room was fresh and clean with a well appointed kitchenette including a two-burner stove and a nicely sized fridge. No complaints about the location, 3 blocks from the river walk = quiet, next door to a distillery ;). The only flaw was a sticking room door that required putting a shoulder to it to open, door was not square with the door frame. The included breakfast was kept stocked, hot and fresh. I highly recommend this property for its price. It pleasantly satisfied what i was looking for in a short term getaway.

The hotel was in a great location. Close to everything i needed to be close to. I did a late checkin, which was perfect. Parking is not included and costed an additional $62 for one night. My car sat in valet for 8 hours waiting to be parked and when it was finally parked at 6:02 AM, it was only parked in their valet lot for 4 hours before we checked out. It was fruatrating and more expensive then they quoted me. The rom was not the cleanest. But the bed was comfortable.

Not worth to come back and deceiving sleep-4

Booked a room to sleep 4 but the sofa-bed was in terrible shape, super old mattress with springs flying out and unable to cushion an 8-year old. Staff was unable to help. Few other small things like missing forks in the kitchen set and the kitchen sink faucet in need of maintenance. Also extremely noisy room, likely because of location with trash bin collection overnight and escalators working at 5am

Wonderful first stay!

My stay was wonderful. The hotel was a little dated for what I was expecting but for the most part well taken care of. The only issue I really had was my room had a smell and I told them and nothing ever seemed to get down about it. Over all my stay was great and I would stay there again. Slept great!!

The hotel was nice, the room was good size, I have only two complaints, first Expedia said the parking fee was $21 but I ended up paying almost 50 dls. And also the mattress was very uncomfortable.

Very old hotel, smelly hallways like paint smell. Bathrooms were average, no view from room, bed was super uncomfortable and the whole night mattress springs were pinching me in my back. On the top of that there were no parking but only valet and they charged $45, after waited 30 minutes valet person came to pickup and when requested to bring car back it took another 25 minutes, super uncomfortable. Will never stay here, price was too high when there were better options available, I took very bad decision this time, fake rating on expedia. I don’t know why Marriott collaborated with this property.

The staff was extremely friendly here. We also loved how walkable it was. The Alamo and River Walk are a 3 minute walk from this hotel. E Houston Street is really nice at Christmas. The hotel property itself needs to be repainted. Lots of paint scratched off doors. The door trim was rusted in a lot of areas.

Handicap room, the shower chair kept breaking, very lucky my husband didn’t get seriously hurt. Maintenance and housekeeping were awesome though, they took care of it right away. Property is old and needs upgrades. Room was clean. Thanks Abby.
