Hello I live in Cheerful-House for over 20years. I am currently live in ground floor with separate entrances and I do not share any of the space during your visit. I can be easily reach from text. In any case of event you need my assist i can be there in reasonable time. Please book trip with actual number of guests, if you will have visitors would like to stay that will be add to your booking.

Jerry was generously informative, helpful, responsive. Fine comfortable house in a quiet safe location. Public transportation nearby (once you are oriented). If you are on foot it's a bit of a ways to groceries and dining. (Also, two bus transfers to get around the Park to Legion of Honor so Lyft was more convenient.) A friend and I enjoyed our four days for art very much!

The Cheerful House is perfectly accommodating, very easy to live in. The bathrooms are well stocked and suited for multiple people to comfortably use. We appreciated the kitchen and the roomy space for us to cook, eat, and clean up. While there is no washing machine, it was not a deal breaker by any means! With public transportation readily accessible we could go anywhere we wanted with ease, whether shopping or going out for sightseeing, the Cheerful House fit the bill nicely. Our host Jerry sent me a link for an event near the ferry building that we attended, and thoroughly enjoyed; we would have never known about the World of Dumplings if he hadn’t sent me the link, unbidden. Bravo Jerry!

Beautifuly kept and spacious. The perfect spot to stay for our family weekend to the San Francisco. Parking was easy and the neighborhood was easy to get around. Love how close we were to the ocean and public transportation. Great location for morning runs! The host is quick to answer questions and was very helpful with information before and thoughout our stay.We would absolutely stay here again and will be recommending to our friends!

Our host, Jerry, is most accommodating and very helpful. Not only did he make us feel comfortable in the home, but he also provided insights on the neighborhood and good places to eat. We can’t say enough good things about Jerry’s hospitality. It is apparent the pride he has taken to make sure we were well taken care of.The rental is located in the Outer Sunset and despite the proximity to Sunset Blvd, was quiet and safe especially in the evening. Beds are very comfortable and made us feel right at home. We were visiting our son, who lived in the neighborhood, which made it very convenient. We will definitely come back whenever we come to visit San Francisco. You should too!!!

What a great spot! Jerry was an excellent host, extremely communicative and thorough with pre-arrival information, which made check-in easy. He responded quickly to my questions and even provided great recommendations on things to do and places to eat during our stay. The property was well lit, very safe, and in a fantastic neighborhood. Travel to and from the property was a breeze, with the Muni stop just a two-minute walk away. My family loved the stay, and we will definitely book again when we return to San Francisco. We could not be more pleased!

Great place to stay! Location is super close to the beach and Golden Gate Park, which worked perfectly for out planned activities. The house is adorable - my kids especially loved it. The convenient and free parking is great. The host was incredibly helpful and accommodating. We got to SF earlier than planned and he let us check in early. Thanks for a great stay!

This house was excellent. The location was just over a city block away from the light rail and buses. We used the excellent SF transportation system to go downtown and then the Golden Gate bridge. The house was very clean and quiet. Jerry, the host, communicated well in advance of arrival and gave us a good run down of the house when we arrived. Thanks.

We spent one night before heading to the airport. Host was super helpful, met us on check in showed us the ropes. You can tell the property has been well taken care of with modern lighting and updated style. Super clean, comfy beds. Very nice! Accommodated our family of 7 comfortably.

4days in SF

Overall a positive stay. East access, clean and comfortable beds. Improvements can be made in the back garden, I'm sure his neighbors don't appreciate him much. I was looking forward to a backyard BBQ but the whole back garden is overgrown. I was sort of expecting a washer, if not a drier, but wasn't to be. The flusher in the master gets stuck so you have to make sure it snaps back in place. There wasn't a salad bowl which we found curious. Ok therwise a well stock kitchen with decent amount of seasonings.
