the hotel is a great bargain; the staff is friendly. Hotel is old and it shows, though rooms were clean. The walls are paper thin, people talking way down the hall sound like they're right outside your door. This was bad late at night and early in the morning. Didn't get much sleep.

Unfortunately, while charged premium rates due to MS Ignite conference, my room was not attended to or cleaned for 5 days. The towels not replaced, bins overflowing. The room had a wet mucky smell. Not sure from what. I tried to open the window and that made no difference. When I spoke to staff (gentleman in reception) downstairs saying my room hasn’t been cleaned for 4 days at that point, I was told: ‘We have a lot of check ins, so not going to happen’. The carelessness for the amount they charge was insane. I would definitely not recommend this place. I checked out after this and went to stay at another hotel. When I asked for at least the leftover days refund, I was told that I’ve rejected their service. There was no service to reject, just very bad experience.
