Hotel Abri is located in a convenient location. The trolley station and BART is in walking distance. The hotel, though quaint, is worth the price because of this. Our front desk staff shared places to visit. Although cute, it lacks amenities such as a fitness room, all day coffee bar and continental breakfast. With lots of shops by, food was not a problem. However, the cost of dining can total a small car payment at the end.

Probably the rudest from desk staff that I have come across for a long time. The hotel is an older hotel with decent rooms, but there was zero friendliness from the front desk. Main door is always locked because it is not in a safe area to leave unlocked. I would not suggest staying at this hotel. I would suggest staying across the street at the Hilton. They know good customer service.

We truly loved our stay, as the location, staff, and room were incredible and the best deal! We stayed for a music festival and the staff were very helpful, and loved the welcome gift bag and accommodating early check in! We’ve stayed at other hotels in Union Square, and by far this hotel won us over as the best we would like to come back to!
