Cosy apartment located in the very centre of Donostia-San Sebastián, just a few steps away from La Concha beach. Its ideal location allows you to enjoy the City Centre and the Old Town, as well as one of the most remarkable bays on the planet, in less than 1 minute on foot. It is, therefore, an excellent option to discover the gastronomy, culture and atmosphere of the city.



It has a sofa bed in the living room. The kitchen is equipped with all the necessary appliances and kitchenware, and the beds are provided with sheets, duvets, and towels.

This place bites, literally.* Infested. Each morning I awoke with bites on my body. A few at first, then more and more (windows were closed; not mosquito season). I contacted the management the third day and sent photos. They said they didn't have problems like that. I eventually asked for a 50% refund to cover the costs of treating all my clothing and belongs on my return. They responded "Could it be that you brought and will take the living beings (we don't know which ones) that caused the bites?". What's important to note here is that they seem to believe not only that I brought an infestation with me, but that it left with me.. they visually inspected the place but did not treat it! So good luck to everyone!* No keys. Check in was a disaster. They have a vending machine that dispenses the keys, but the code they provided didn't work. I called the number on the vending machine, it didn't work. I called the number they had provided via emails, it went to voice mail. I ended up calling VRBO and they raised the management which reset the code. This was late at night on a Saturday... 1.5 hours of stress and running around in the dark! * Lies. I had heard that to reduce congestion, San Sebastian has some free parking lots on the outskirts of the city. I asked the management about this before arriving; they wrote "You cannot park free in the street and there is no option to park oustside the city." -- but this was a lie - there is convenient, free parkin

June visit to San Sebastián

The location was terrific. The noise on the street at night was terrible. We needed the window open as it was very hot and there were very loud people yelling and laughing until 4AM. The private parking was not available as stated in the description and the only available parking was 10-15 minutes away and very expensive. The furniture needs to be repaired or replaced - the sofa bed in the living room is torn with stuffing showing and is very uncomfortable. The double bed has one pillow to be shared by two people. At least it was a good location!

Fantastic apartment 2 blocks from beach

We had a great time in Barcelona. The apartment is really comfortable & centrally located. We easily walked everywhere. Be aware that the address to obtain the key was on a street not on my iPhone GPS. Make sure to get actual directions for getting the key. Also, be aware there are switches on the wall to the left of the windows that control the exterior shutter system. There was loud construction across the street and it was REALLY helpful to close those exterior shutters to cut down on noise.

San Sebastian was wonderful and our apartment was just as pictured. The location was perfect and the apartment was very nice, comfortable and clean. We enjoyed our stay and highly recommend Basque Stay and this apartment.

Great Basque Stay Experience-Thank You!

We very much enjoyed staying at this property. The location and size for two people was perfect. We were within walking distance to La Concha & Old town. We rented a car and also utilized the parking garage near by! There is also a small store and pintxa bars at corner! Very convenient! I would recommend this property and working with Basque Stay was a pleasure.

Great apartment, great location

Really enjoyed our stay here, it was ideal for a couple for 5 nights. Well-equipped, clean, comfortable bed and all the room we needed. The location is fantastic. Steps from the beach and a short stroll to shopping, the old town and not too far from ţhe train station. I'd stay again and would definitely recommend it. With regard to the few negative comments about noise levels: it's an apartment centrally located in a busy city and no noisier than any other similarly situated that we've experienced.

Great location. OK apartment.

The location was great- just a block away from the water. The apartment bedroom was cramped. Walls are paper thin and you can hear the neighbors. It was so loud on a Saturday night that we had to sleep in the living room. Next time, we will stay in a hotel when staying in San Sebastian.

House smelled of smoke, issue was never addressed by rental agency

We arrived late and the apartment smelled so strongly of cigarette smoke that it made both of us feel sick. We called the property manager and they did not offer to move us anywhere new and showed that they cared little for the issue we had with the property. We had to check into a hotel for the entire stay. They did not refund any of our money even though the property was not as advertised and we did not stay there for more than 15 minutes. Would not suggest staying in this unit or using BasqueStay for any rentals as they have no empathy for their customers. We lost the entire cost of the rental.

The apartment was nice and clean. Communication with Benat was excellent. There's a parking spot in the garage but make sure you rent a small car because it's tight, like everywhere in Spain.

El apartamento estaba bien, bastante limpio. Aunque le faltaban algunas cosas básicas como un tostador o más de un juego de toallas/sábanas, teniendo en cuenta que la estancia era de una semana. El único problema es que el parking incluido era minúsculo, a penas cabía el coche y salir era miu complicado. Intentamos pedir otro parking pero no pudieron darnos nada así que tuvimos que aparcar en un parking público (con el consiguiente gasto). Para ser un apretamiento de estas características (y precio) deberían tener una segunda opción de parking.
