The location of this hotel is fantastic. Easily walkable through the Gros neighborhood and over the bridge to Old Town San Sebastian. Rooms are clean and functional. Layout not the best if you are staying for multiple days in terms of clothing storage and want to fully unpack, just an open closet with a few hangers and a book case to stack things on, no iron either if needed. Also, as many reviews mention, there is no safe in the room so if you are having your room serviced you'll likely want to keep your valuables with you. Lastly, we had fantastic service from the concierge, James, but on the days/hours that he wasn't at the desk the rest of the team was lackluster and acted disinterested in greeting or helping guests. A couple small tweaks could take this hotel from good to great!

This place is fine and affordable for the very expensive San Sebastián. Everything is within walking distance. Beds and showers need work. The bed is uncomfortable and the shower leaks everywhere if you use the big showerhead.

Perfect location. About a 10-minute walk west takes you to the old town, and about 10 minutes along the river brings you to the station. The beach is just steps away. The staff were very warm and welcoming, and the room was clean. It was a comfortable hotel even with a small child.

No frills, great room, clean, well located and great value. Small hotel (4 rooms per floor, 6 floors) with no services - great if you want to explore SS. Reception desk with great team. James, Mayalen (hope spelling is not too bad) and Edi were super helpful and nice. Thank you for making our stay feel like home.

They advertised a room with a balcony and I triple checked to ensure it was the correct room with a balcony as I planned to propose to my now fiance. I arrived and was put into a different room floors down without a balcony or view. The staff was less than helpful in trying to fix the situation telling me verbally and in subsequent emails it was my fault for reasons I still don’t understand. No partial discounts, no attempt to right the wrong, just verbal abuse and flippant disregard. The property was nice but the staff and customer service was awful. Would recommend finding somewhere else to stay if in San Sebastián!

Very helpful and attentive staff. Great location in Gros (newer part of town) with easy access to the historic part of the town. Close to the beach and other areas of San Sebastián. Nice room with a very comfortable bed. Would definitely recommend this hotel.
