The Space:

This quaint and comfortable studio is located on the second floor at the Inn at Gulf Place and accommodates up to four guests comfortably. Enjoy beautiful sunsets from the spacious private balcony with partial views of the Gulf of Mexico and the adorable town below. The inviting interior is ideal for feeling right at home and the full kitchen is equipped with everything you need to make some of your favorite recipes with ease. The shared tennis courts and shared pool will occupy days not spent at the beach and a large flatscreen TV is available for movie nights and winding down after long hours in the sun!



This location is hard to beat, as many things are just a short walk away. Make sure to stop by The Perfect Pig for the perfect happy hour and great food. Or walk across the street to Shunk Gulley for balcony views of the Gulf and the most amazing duck-fat-fries. Do some shopping at the 30A store or several of the other boutiques on the property. Take a short drive to Santa Rosa Golf & Beach Club for an afternoon with friends or head 15-mile west to the well-known fishing village of Destin, FL. For a bit of trees and fresh air, head over to Longleaf Pine Trailhead and explore the diversity of the landscape here in Santa Rosa Beach.

Small space need updating and better cleaning

Very dated, small, dirty with mold in a tub. Floors only vacuumed never cleaned. Max for 2 people. Small old bathroom with mold around window & tiles. Old lights flickering. Roaches on the floor. Dust on the walls. Sofa very dirty. Good location

Great Gulf Place Studio

This was a nice condo; perfect for a single person (or a couple). The bed is in its own nook, which makes the kitchen, living area, bathroom seem more roomy than many studios. There’s a couch, tv, and Wi-Fi. The kitchen was well-stocked and the unit was clean. The bathroom was roomy for a studio. The furniture and equipment were fine—not fancy or the newest, but everything worked well. The porch/deck has a nice view of 30A and the gulf (through the complex across the street). Ed Walline Park, the bike trails, shops, restaurants, and arts complex are other treats at Gulf Place. My only suggestion is the owners consider a light on the ceiling fan over the bed. In the winter, when it gets dark early, it’s hard to read in bed with the lamps that are currently in the unit. This is a condo I’ll definitely consider for future trips to 30A. Thanks to the owners and managers.

Perfect little getaway

We loved this little loft style condo. Beach access is right across the road. Lots of good restaurants within a two minute walk. 30a bike path is right there too. The balcony was great in the evenings once it cooled off for the day. Definitely recommend for a couples getaway.

Beach view

Very clean! Easy walk to beach. Wish there was a ramp closer! Walk to a couple restaurants and shops. Parking wasn’t the greatest but otherwise enjoyed our stay!

Perfect location

The property is in a perfect location but for the price we thought it would be nicer. The bathroom, especially, needs a serious upgrade. It did not come with many amenities, no coffee filters, no hangers, no broom to clean up sand, no extra blankets and it was quite cold during our stay, and no way to change the thermostat.

Excellent location

We loved our stay at gulf place, excellent location right across the street from the beach. Very clean property & Great amenities and close to nice restaurants and shops. The condo is small but has great views & was just perfect for my husband and I and our two young kids. However I would recommend replacing the sofa sleeper because it would pop up on the end when laying on it. Vacasa was great about responding to any of our inquiries and checked in with us the day after arrival to make sure everything was ok with the our stay. We would definitely stay here again . My only complaint was that we were told before arrival that we could have a beach tent on the gulf place beach when we inquired about it. but when we got there the people setting up chairs on the beach told us we were not allowed to have one , not a huge deal to move to the public side of the beach but a bit of an annoyance, especially when we asked before we booked this place .

Did not like having to set up my tent down the beach away from my access to the beach. Plenty of space available. We used to get an umbrella and beach chairs included but no more so we bought a tent only to be told to move down the beach to set it up. Very disappointing.

We really enjoyed our stay at Gulf Place. It was a perfect location for my daughter and I with the close proximity to the beach. The view of the gulf from this studio was great. The food and shopping options were wonderful.

Gulf Place

Our stay at Gulf Place was clean and comfortable. We were able to grocery shop and cook using the pots and utensils at the condo. The beach is a very short walk which is really nice! It’s also walking distance to several delicious restaurants. The pool on the property is clean and heated. Overall, we had a great stay and can’t wait to be back!

Gulf Place Condo

The location is great! Right above a great coffee shop and restaurants. The view of the gulf is nice as well. But the place itself was not clean. The floors were sandy and there bathroom window had black mold around it. I don't consider the window a cleaning issue, the window needs to be replaced and the mold removed.

Great Studio in Perfect Location!

My husband, 4-year old son, and I had lovely weekend getaway at this sweet studio apartment. The location is the best detail for sure. It is situated directly across from the beach and located above a few quaint little shops. There are a good selection of restaurants in walking distance too! We enjoyed very amenity included and the pool is fabulous! The King side bed is VERY comfortable! The only downside is the apartment is slightly dated and needs some attention. There was mold in the shower window and the whole place could you a good deep clean. Also, the blowdryer was ancient and broken hanging on the wall (minor issue) but should be replaced. Otherwise we would definitely visit again! Thank you for a great trip.

Great area Great Beach !! Perfect location to stores and restaurants!

We rented for a week great location and Close to beach and room was perfect with kitchen and studio size with bedroom . The bathroom needs updating but all else was good and we did have Ant problem toward the end of stay which we informed rental company . Their was a lot of rain this week so can be understandable. We enjoyed our stay!!

Nice get away if you enjoy this area!

The place is directly on 39-a, so if you like the hustle and bustle, you will love it! Water was crystal clear, but beach by the condo was very, very crowded. The garbage truck comes every morning, so bring a noise blocking device. The condo is very clean and nice for two people.
