We were really looking forward to our stay, but unfortunately, there were a couple of serious issues that impacted our experience. The air conditioning didn’t work properly when we got there and on our last day, which made the house very uncomfortable, especially during the heat of the day. Worse, we found German cockroaches in the kitchen, which was really unsettling and made us hesitant to prepare or eat food there. Cleanliness and comfort are basic expectations, and unfortunately, this property didn’t meet them during our visit.This could be a great place with some attention and care, but as it stands, I can’t recommend it unless these issues are addressed.

Family vacation 2023

This property housed 11 of us comfortably. We basically had the community pool to ourselves! The house is decorated beautifully and well equipped except for towels and potholders. I gave a 4 for cleanliness because the front porch was not swept and beach toys everywhere. The recliners in the living room did not work and that was a bummer. There was a surplus of books and games for all ages. The driveway is small but we made 3 SUV’s work. The elevator was a life savor!!!

Property was great! If you have a larger group bring some extra towels and washcloths. Expect to hear a little hammering at 8:00am Rent a golf cart. Worth it “Street Legal” very responsive Had pictures taken on the beach “shore shooter” wonderful! Liz took her time and took a lot! Went on a sailboat “Paradise Adventures” Jess, Jamie and Jacob. So accommodating!! Small walk to beach. Go to sea grove! Small drive on a golf Cart. “Food trucks”

Roof top Gang

Great roof top to spend evenings on when the sun was going down. Outside furniture was dated and a little rusty, but beautiful views. Large 5 bedrooms with an elevator was awesome. I have a family of 8 adults and we all had our own bedroom with a bathroom. The main floor bedroom door does not stay closed so that was a bit embarrassing, also very loud in that bedroom. The beds were extremely hard so I had a hard time sleeping. Also a LOT of construction( right) next door so don’t think you can sleep in. All in all this is a great huge family house, I would book again.

Nice House and Good Location

The house is very comfortable and roomy. We had a mixed age group from grandparents to toddlers. The elevator in the home was definitely a bonus! It allowed the grandparents to stay on the second floor as they were able to avoid the stairs. Thereby allowing the first floor bedroom to be used by my niece, her husband and their 2 year old. (Didn’t want the toddler to be climbing the stairs) As far as location, it was pretty good. The beach is within walking distance but not if you are carrying all of the things you will need for an entire day at the beach. The nearest beach access does not allow parking, so we wld have to drive and unload then take vehicle back to the house and walk down then repeat when our day was complete. Cons: The washer and dryer are stackable and can only handle a small load. When you have a house that can accommodate 10+ people you need a full size washer and dryer. Plus the dryer didn’t work properly. It would take forever to dry clothes, despite the numerous lint cleanings. I had read this in previous reviews and it was very true..the smoke alarm is super sensitive to say the least. It would go off constantly even when there was no smoke. This was extremely annoying as it would wake the entire house up once anyone started to prepare breakfast. While I appreciate that it works, there has to be something that can be done to help control its sensitivity. Scrambling eggs would trigger the alarm. We found it helpful to only cook on the back burners with the oven fans on. This seemed to help a little. One last thing, parking is very tight. Three SUVs will not fit. Luckily, the lot next to the home is vacant and we were able to utilize a portion of that and park parallel to the road. I believe if they owners would invest in a golf cart that came with the rental of the house it would be a great addition. Otherwise, if I stayed here again I would definitely rent one,

Nice place for siblings to gather.

The VRBO was nice and roomy. Each couple had privacy with their own bathroom. We were somewhat dissatisfied with the cooking pans. The skillets need replaced. The tv and wifi had issues and maybe more info beforehand would have helped. WiFi was at times slow and the tv channels were not available.

The house was decorated very nicely. It is in a great location with only a couple minutes bike ride to the beach. Benchmark mgmt was very responsive to our issues. However, during our stay, the hairdryer broke, the barbecue pit did not work, and the pool was not usable. They did not check the pool condition until we arrived and at that point it was too late because they needed to order a part to fix the pump. I only gave it 3 stars for cleanliness because the microwave was filthy, the stove was not clean, And the cabinets had food On them from Previous stays. Everything else was clean. Overall, my family really enjoyed our stay at this house.

FABULOUS House, Perfect Vacation!!

Ocean Breeze exceeded all of our expectations during our recent vacation to Seagrove!! WOW!! Where do I begin? With family friends traveling from Oslo, Norway to meet us in Florida . . . with 4 of the 5 of them having never been to the United States . . . I wanted our vacation home to be impressive, comfortable, and convenient to the beautiful beach. I spent many days searching online for the perfect house, and I found it with Ocean Breeze!!!! Everything about Ocean Breeze seemed perfect for the 10 of us!! My husband and I enjoyed the lovely Master Suite on the 1st floor with the double vanity, oversized Jacuzzi tub, and walk-in closet in the Master Bath. The kitchen had everything you could dream of to prepare quick lunches and gourmet dinners. We enjoyed grilling fish and shrimp on the outdoor gas grill, also! Loved the 1/2 bath right off the kitchen area!! The dining and living room area had ample room for all of us, as we love to sit down together for meals and play games together at night. Our Norwegian friends loved the 3 bedrooms and 3 full baths on the 2nd floor and really appreciated finding there was an elevator for their heavy, international luggage. The 2nd floor accommodated their family perfectly. Our son and his wife had total privacy on the 3rd floor with another full bath. The balcony off of the 3rd floor was so much fun in the evening, and there was always a comfortable breeze up there. The beach was gorgeous during this 2nd week of July!! The water was bright turquoise, and I could honestly count all 10 of my toes being neck deep in the Gulf of Mexico every single day we were there!! That's my kind of water!! We found bicycle and golf cart rentals just a short walk away. There is also a pizza shop, ice cream shop and a very good restaurant for breakfast and/or dinner close by. The walk to the beach was less than 5 minutes from Ocean Breeze. The house comes with 4 beach chairs and 2 beach umbrellas which were conveniently already set up for us every day!! WE LOVE LOVE LOVE Ocean Breeze and cannot wait to return!! Honestly, there is not one thing negative that I can think of about this property. When 10 people were completely thrilled with this vacation home, I was a very happy, relaxed lady and had a blast!! We will definitely be back!! Kathy Sahli

Probably the most well-stocked kitchen cookware and utensils of any place we've ever stayed. Cannot say enough about how responsive and nice the company handling this property was. If only they could have done something about the rain!

Great week at the beach with family

We enjoyed staying in this house. It is very nice and well equipped. The only thing I might suggest is a new internet router. The internet constantly went in and out. My son in law was trying to work from there. One day he had to go to a coffee shop to get some work done because the internet was so bad. Otherwise everything was great.

Great little find in a quiet beach neighborhood

We had a great 2 week stay in August. The weather and water were spectacular and it was capped off by this gem of a place to stay. The place was very clean and updated with nice amenities. There was plenty of space for everyone to spread out on different levels. The beds were very comfortable which is always a concern at another person's place. Having a pack and play and toddler bed were a necessity for our family traveling with 4 kids under 6. Our kids loved the close proximity pool for late afternoons. The bike rental shop down the street was very helpful and we definitely got our money's worth of riding. The walk to the beach is easy even for the little ones. The owner was very easy to contact ahead of time with questions and recommendations for local items. We will definitely be coming back in the future!! A few suggestions though, the vacuum cleaner does not work great and it may just be a full bag, but having a working broom, mop, and vacuum are a must with sand and a 1 year old dropping food on the floor all the time. The kitchen needs a bigger community trashcan. The small oddly shaped one is nothing for 12 people to fill in a hurry. Outside larger and more secure trashcans are also a must. We saw 2 large raccoons getting into the trash every night and we had to go clean it up every morning. We couldn't keep the trash inside though because it was to much with so many people and poopy diapers.

Ocean Breeze

We had a wonderful time in Santa Rosa and were excited to find this house which had an elevator. It made it easier for my father in law, who has bad knees, to be able to get to his bedroom with ease. The house was large and very roomy for our entire family. It was a bit farther of a walk than described but we made do and even used the handicap public access beach area most days, that was a quick drive down the road. My only complaints are that the house seemed a bit dirty when we first arrived. The floors were rather gross, as evident from my 10 month old crawling around and the black residue on her feet. I understand it's a beach house rental and you'll get that, so that didn't kill it for me. It would have been nice to have a cleaner kitchen/kitchen table. It looked like they rushed through cleaning before we got there. Again I know there is a quick turnaround in these peak seasons so it wasn't a make or break it moment. We did call in 2x about the 2nd floor porch spindle that was loose and actually a hazard, as well as the pool across the street that was dirty with dead frogs and plexi glass at the bottom of the pool from the play basketball hoop. My brother in law actually cut his foot on it one day while in the pool with his kids. No one came out to address those issues which is rather upsetting. We were told someone would be right out and no one ever showed. Overall our experience and the house was perfect for what we needed.

Nice enough

Wifi didn't work, trash from previous renters was strewn by animals the next am. We called on both-trash issue fixed almost immediately but wifi didn't work until Friday. Never received a call back regarding either. Enjoyed location to beach, a few shops/restaurants, and seaside. Had issues with lights out and doors difficult to close but didn't call about those.
