I am looking to rent my condo on Anna Maria Island, Bradenton Beach - FL. This is a two bedroom with a full kitchen. It has a King size bed, Queen bed and a pullout couch, full kitchen and one bathroom. There is basic cable, WIFI, and utilities are included in the rental price. NO pets and no smoking.

The condo is at Tortuga Inn which is a popular resort condo/hotel. It offers private beach access with chairs and umbrellas included within my HOA. Two pools onsite and cover parking as an option. Parking is not assigned, it's first come first serve. The room is on the top floor so no noisy upper neighbors. The view outside is of the garden area. A short walk to the pool and the beach.

It's the perfect beach to bay resort on Florida's unspoiled Anna Maria Island. Plus a private white sand beach just across the street, two heated pools, a private pergola with amazing ocean views and water craft rentals. Manatees are known to habitat the bay area during certain times a year, dolphins and other wildlife are also regular visitors with the bay and ocean.

Within the condo; it's a 2 bedroom, has a full kitchen, dishwasher, coffee maker, plenty of cooking utensils, breakfast bar that seats 4. The living room is very spacious with a couch and large chair. Master bedroom has a king size bed and tv. Second bedroom has a queen bed and tv. There is one bathroom with tub and shower. The condo has basic cable, smart tv's, and free wifi.

If you are looking for additional rooms our son has 4 properties at Tortuga. You can check out the VRBO listing by entering these ID's in the VRBO search engine; 7850036 and 1626279 are both 1 bedroom condos and 2065681 and 7850036 are both studio condo options.

Great condo in a great location!

We loved our stay here! The condo is so cute, clean and cozy. The host was very communicative with any questions I had. The beach is across the street and I went for sunset strolls most nights. The pool was great and is heated to a nice warm temp. All lower units are still being repaired from the hurricanes so no one is in them. Which may have added to how quiet it was as it was always very quiet around the resort.There is free laundry close to the unit in the parking garage building. The washers are very large capacity and I used them a few times. The location is great. The trolley stop for the North bound is by the entrance and south bound near the exit driveway. Also an easy walk to several restaurants just down the road or to Bridge street. We ate down in Bridge street one night and then walked up the beach back to the resort. Not far at all. Would stay here again!

Our family stayed for a week over spring break. The location is perfect. It’s across from the beach- gorgeous sand- lounge chairs provided. It’s centrally located. There is a Trolley stop near the complex. There are two pools, one we used because it was cool and refreshing. The pool closest to the beach was much too warm for a hot day. Each day we went for a morning walk down towards coquina beach. Beautiful! We felt the condo was lacking some basic items. There were not enough hooks in the condo. A hook by the door for a purse or keys would be nice. No hooks for towels except for a few stuck on the walls in the shower, which isn’t that helpful because then the towels have to be removed w/ each shower. We constantly had to drape towels over furniture.Only two small frying pans which were in bad shape. No hot pads. No dressers so we had to live out of our suitcase for the week. It was unfortunate that we had to keep the suit cases lying on the floor all week. A few suitcase stands would be nice. In past rentals we had basic items available, but not here. No cleaning products or cleaning spray at all. We couldn’t wipe the counter top/stove after use unless we used the one sponge we were given. A tiny amount of dish soap left for us, but not enough for a week. Two rolls of toilet paper for a week’s stay. Only 4 dishwasher pods. No extra garbage bags. For our family, we likely would not book this condo again. Location/beach great, but we felt the condo and pool were lacking.

Not Great

The location was nice since it was across the street from the beach. Beds were good. The unit had mold on one of the return vents, the host quickly responded and had maintenance take care of it. There was no stopper in the bathtub, so you couldn't take a bath. The unit notes washer and dryer but they are not located in the unit. They are in the building behind the unit. Pool was closed due to the hurricane damage. For the price paid, it was not worth the stay or cost. I would recommend staying once all the construction and renovations are done. Further, email the host prior to renting and ask upfront questions. Defiantly, not satisfied with this rental.

visiting Florida in wake of hurricanes

We were very lucky to be able to go through with our trip considering all the destruction from the two hurricanes. Our host, Carol, kept us informed on status of her rental and the island in general and was most helpful in making the trip an enjoyable one. I was very impressed at how quickly the people of Bradenton Beach were able to clean up and begin the rebuilding process after having endured so much wrath from Mother Nature.

Excellent location

The location of the condo is ideal. Walk to beach and lounge chairs are a bonus. The devastation to the area is unreal and my sympathies go to many of the businesses and home owners. The Tortuga Inn attached to the condo was hit pretty hard. The pool is not operational and most first floor condos are destroyed. There is still piles of sand and debris, roped off areas and broken fences along the property. I know it will come back to normal soon but if you are staying soon just know there’s a lot of work being done to the property. The condo is on the second floor. It was fine for our short stay but we missed the amenities and wished full disclosure of the property had been given.

Great location, great potential

Overall it was a good experience. Some potential improvements: a coffee table would be nice; king mattress is well worn—sags on both sides with high ridge in the middle; cleaning crew needs to clean up their act—exhaust fan filter in bathroom is completely clogged, curly hairs found on tiles in shower. With those improvements, it would make a huge difference in rating.

Condo was very nice

We enjoyed our stay in this condo. We had stayed in a condo right next to Tortuga Inn, so we knew it was nice. We were there 3 days before we realized there is a hose right beside of where you cross over to beach. This would have been helpful, as it is not obvious. The condo suited our needs, the location and beach access are a big plus.
