The Westin Resort is in a wonderful location. Walk to cafes and restaurants. The staff is welcoming and goes above and beyond to ensure your stay is perfect, Maria was amazing. Delicious breakfasts and again great service and wonderful staff, loved Kristen. The rooftop pool and bar area was a bonus with views of the city and bay. Valet shuttle service staff was always cheerful, accommodating and fast. It’s a quick trip to St Armand’s Circle, Lido Beach and local restaurants. We had a perfect vacation experience at The Westin and would highly recommend it.

The hotel is beautiful, bar and dining is adequate. There are many good restraunts and attractions within walking distance. I personally dislike valet parking, having to wait. The man who checked me in was very talkative which was not enjoyable for me. I don't like the rain shower. This one has a wand but I would still prefer a regular shower. I have stayed in downtown Sarasota many times, unlikely to choose this hotel again. The resort fee is also a negative.

I was disappointed that the king room we reserved was not available. There was no explanation given. They gave us a Marina view as an upgrade, but queen beds. This was not what I expected or paid for. A bit frustrating.
