The Grand hotel was a Palace. And is Elegant in an exuberant Victorian style. The furnishings are all original and in superb condition. It is a treasure trove of valuable antiques. We had a memorable time especily being with our son Eduardo.

We stayed in the apartments. The bathroom was absolutely gorgeous and lovely. Overall, it was a great stay. Sofa could be softer. Had washer dryer and an LG styler. I booked the Suite at Grand Mercure Imperial Palace during my stay in Gangnam, and it was amazing. From the interior decoration to the our hotel room, everything was immaculate. All the staff were very friendly and professional, offering help whenever they can. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Gangnam, as the location was perfect. It was minutes way from subways and bus stops, which made it incredibly easy to travel around. If I'm ever back in Korea in Gangnam, I plan to stay at this place again!

Beautiful palace but a little far from attractions

The property is very beautiful - it‘s a real palace. However it‘s pretty far from most of the attractions and the closest subway Station is about 10 minutes walk. In the room there is an air conditioner but you can not control the temperature - as I was told by the receptionist it‘s central air conditioner for the whole wing and they can’t change temperature - so couple of evenings I found myself getting really cold with about 20 degrees in the room and tons of clothes to keep myself warm after shower
