⭐ Very Disappointing and Unacceptable Experience
We had an extremely unpleasant experience at this hotel and would not recommend it to anyone—especially those traveling with a disabled guest.
When we arrived, we informed the front desk that we needed a first-floor room due to a disabled person in our party who could not use stairs. The man at the desk told us there were no first-floor rooms available, so we reluctantly checked into an upstairs room.
Once inside, the condition of the room was horrible:
• The ceiling showed major water damage, clearly an ongoing issue that appeared unresolved
• There was a strong, unpleasant odor throughout the room
• The windows were completely cloudy, as if the seals were broken, making it impossible to see outside
• The bathroom sink had no plug
• The couch had large brown stains and was clearly unsanitary—we wouldn’t even consider sitting on it
Might I add they called this their “Deluxe Room”!
Because of both the stairs and the condition of the room, we immediately went back to the desk to request a refund. Suddenly, the same man said he did have a first-floor room available after all.
At that point, we had no intention of staying, yet he refused to issue a refund. We left and booked a room next door at the Hampton Inn, which was clean, professional, and accommodating.
One final concern: the parking lot remained completely empty for 3 days. Very suspicious situation and unsettling at the very least!
