For the price you pay it is what you get. Yes, its an older motel but the location was worth it. Especially since it is part of the hop on hop of trolley route so you can just park and use that for your stay. There was an attendant there 24 hours. I can see how it can get a little loud during busy season but we went when it had died down. I was amazed that the pool hours were until 9pm and when we arrived people were still in the pool at 930pm and the attendant was fine with it. Breaking turned out better than the reviews. There was the usually instant oatmeal with sides, eggs, sausages, bisuits with gravy, cereal and apples and bananas. Juice, coffee and cappuccino was also available.

Staff were quite friendly and offered good customer service; Food taste was good; was disappointed that on the second morning meat was added to the eggs; would have been nice to have a meatless option for eggs each day; shower had extremely low water pressure; the shower curtain was too short so water spilled onto the bathroom floor if dis not turn shower head to the wall; not all towels were clean; had to kill a roach in the room as well as what looked like termites. Overall I would not reserve room at this hotel again.

I arrived at this hotel a bit prejudiced because of some negative reviews, likely written by people who either didn’t want to pay for what they were getting or simply couldn’t appreciate the place. I have to admit I was wrong — and I apologize for my initial impression. The staff was absolutely wonderful: kind, helpful, and genuinely courteous. The rooms may be a little dated, but they were spotless. I was even given extra towels without having to ask twice. As for the breakfast, anyone claiming it wasn’t good must have had other issues, because it was excellent — fresh and well-organized, with eggs, sausages, yogurt, fresh bread, and more. The location is also perfect: the old town is only about a 15-minute walk away, and the pool was clean and well-maintained. This isn’t a 5-star luxury hotel, but I would happily return for the kindness of the staff, the welcoming atmosphere, and the overall value. Thank you!

Very bad experience, we had to leave. We couldn’t spend the night in that place. We couldn’t use the pool, the pool wall’s were black of mold. There is not inspection or control of anything two couples were drinking and playing inappropriate loud music.

The staff are really nice and the place is very convenient and decent for the price only thing i didnt like was the metal bedframe when you mive around on the bed if ya know what i mean sounds like its scraping the floor and the chair was old in our room looks dirty guess cause of overtime stains but the breakfast was great had several hot foods like eggs with cheese in the middle and sausage,biscuits and gravy,cereal milk,apple juice and orange juice,yogurt,bananas etc. The pool is awesome too was quiet not crowded plus we went too the goo goo dolls concert got back to the room late around 11pm and me and my wife went swimming and the staff didnt have a problem with it or kick us out cause says only open til 9pm so was great especially enjoying the water after a hot concert so that was cool

The Villa 1565 isnt bad but it does not look like what is advertised. The bed was very comfortable and the shower is nice. The livingroom furniture in the king suite was not comfortable at all. The first night we had a swarm of what looked like flying ants swarming ohr door. When we opened the door they flew in. So we basically spent the first night killing bugs. The room also smelt very bad like old musky/mold smell. We had to light a candle anytime we were in the room. The lady at the front desk was very nice and helpful.

3 star? No way!

Motel (not hotel) was ok but fell short of expectations. Not sure how this property got rated a 3 star property. It’s a motel set up—all one floor, drive up to your door. Pictures really didn’t reperesent. Pool super small and separated from parking lot by chain link fence. Rooms ok but pretty clinical. Breakfast was mid. If it was a 1.5 star and priced as such, I’d stay again—it was fine, just didn’t meet the standard that was advertised.
