Opal Sol was a beautiful resort. It is right on the beach (across a small street), and chairs and umbrellas are available to rent. The pool is beautiful, with lots of seating and there is food and beverage service readily available.

My family and I really enjoyed our stay here. The staff was amazing and very accommodating! We came from ny on a very long road trip and asked if we can check in several hours before our check in time, and they allowed us to check in which was amazing because we were so tired from the 18 hr road trip. The rooms were beautiful and every room has a view of the water which is awesome. The restaurants were amazing. Friendly staff and Amazing food! My family and I will definitely be back. This brand new addition to Opal Sands is wonderful. The pool areas are fun and heavily staffed for towels and drinks when your heart desires. Rooms are well thought out and the views are some of the best on Clearwater Beach.

This hotel is spectacular! It's only been open for a few months, so it's still immaculately clean. All the staff members are super accommodating, and the food at the restaurants is fantastic and reasonable priced. Since their sister hotel is right next door, you can feel free to dine at their restaurants and use the facilities there as well. The only down side was over-crowding at the beach on the weekends as it is a public beach, and the fact that you need to pay for the use of beach chairs and umbrellas.
