My property was stolen by one of the cleaning ladies, i dont know her name but she stays in room 102. Manager Teresa wouldn’t check the security cameras. The next day my paid booking for 3 days (Oct15-18) was cancelled by her for no reason and I was not allowed to check in. She lied and told me it was canceled through Expedia, but when I spoke to Expedia, they never canceled and it was an “ongoing trip” as if I had checked in and were still there. I went to another hotel last minute and it’s very nice, but about double the price of the Uptown (which is why I chose the place ). Also, cockroaches in room 127, room136 was falling apart- sink n vanity detached from wall & water leaking on floor, old dirty air conditioner gave me allergic reaction, floor boards coming up. All rooms have stains on walls & floors. Cleaning for a new guest is only changing the sheets and mopping the floor. I did all my own cleaning. And if you need something (toilet paper, towels etc) good luck. I bought my own and washed my own sheets and towels
