We were overcharged over $4500 on a credit card. Be careful staying at this hotel because they overcharge and then you have to freeze your credit card. It eventually got resolved, but it was very frustrating because it was our first family vacation in years and we had to put up with this situation. Received an email from someone at the resort that she wanted to speak with me, but never heard back. Apparently, customer service is not high on the list.

The experience was amazing. We had three bedrooms for a party of nine family vacation. The hotel was beautiful. The staff was great. I would definitely recommend this hotel and I would definitely stay again if I were in Clearwater.

The hotel itself is beautiful — great location right on Clearwater Beach, clean rooms, and overall friendly staff. However, I was wrongfully charged $60 for a service I did not use. I contacted the hotel twice after my stay. Both times I was told someone would follow up with me by email or phone. It’s been weeks and no one ever got back to me. Very disappointed by the lack of follow-through and accountability. I expected more from a hotel under the Wyndham brand. This issue ruined what would have otherwise been a great stay.

Fabulous stay all around. Audra was amazing at check-in and surprised us with a room way earlier than we expected. Our room was in the center of the 4th floor of the central section so our view was of the beautiful pool and the ocean beyond. There are no rooms above it and the spa etc is below it so noise was never an issue (even the pool noise outside was easily blocked out by the thick hurricane slider door. And the pool music was LOUD - more than we enjoyed so we stayed at the beach until the chair/umbrella company closed at 5p. Ample beach chairs were set up daily, a separate company than the resort but included with our stay. About the time we headed up to the pool many people were leaving the pool for dinner so we had pool chairs too. We came on a weekend in August so it was super busy, somewhat crowded but that’s expected and it was managed well. The rooms had the little extra touches that make a difference in comfort and convenience - plenty of towel hooks in the bathrooms, reading lights on the headboard in addition to the lamps, the full length mirror with a shelf and hook to get ready if someone else is using the bathroom, etc. The fridge was cold, no microwave available though, and our bed had a bit of a “hole” on my husband’s side. The staff were spectacular and accommodating. In addition to the front desk and service staff, even maintenance went out of their way to be helpful. We could not have been happier and will certain return if we have the chance!
