Great place to stay in Stowe. The only con is the walls seems to be thin and if you have noisy neighbors or early risers, you can hear pretty much everything. Included breakfast was great and the property is very pretty, great location.

The room was clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The location has close access to the shopping district, as well as easy access to the drive to the north to see the mountains and landscapes. Although we did not use it, the indoor pool and hot tub and sauna looked clean and inviting.

Actually, I did not stay. I had made a reservation for the wrong dates - I was so upset. It looked lovely. The manager was so helpful in helping us find another hotel and was willing to drop any fees incurred. My reservation was nonrefundable. He spoke with a representative from Hotel.com and all fees were dropped, I did not have to pay for my wanted stay. I highly recommend this lodge - beautiful with excellent service. I am so grateful to the manager.

The complimentary breakfast was good. The staff here was incredibly friendly. Parking was a piece of cake. Our room was on the ground floor and there are no sheers on the windows. The bathroom is small with almost no shelf space. There are no grab bars in the shower and it's a step-in step-out tub. We had one luggage rack so I had to put my suitcase on the sofa. There are no USB ports in the room. The outlets by the bed are low and we needed regular electical plug-ins to charge our phones, etc. It's an older place and so these drawbacks are somewhat understandable.

Everything was fantastic = staff was very friendly and helpful. (especially breakfast staff!) The only thing lacking was the quality of towels! I'm petite and the bath towel was thin and barely large enough! Otherwise - would still recommend to stay there.

I have to base this review on the price I paid. I have been traveling for 10 days. This place was over $150 more than any place I stayed and by far the least nice. I’m assuming because of the time of year and location I was really gouged. This was a basic, old, no frills roadside motel. I really expected for the price I was paying ($505/night) I was going to get a really nice experience. The minute I pulled up I knew the rate I was charged was at least 3 times more than I should have paid. The staff was nice and the room was clean but, other than that it was a huge disappointment.

It was the least expensive last minute place outside of Stowe for fall foliage time. The "bridge" over the indoor pool to get from registration/breakfast area to our room was interesting. The place is older, our room door barely cleared the inside room wall by 1/4", was always glad my finger was not caught in that gap. The bathroom is updated. Breakfast was decent.

It was a quaint motel. If you are use to a regular hotel, this isn’t the same but quite comfy. There was a little stream outside our room, #62. Breakfast was limited, but made to order and was very good
