Everything was just perfect. From the easy self check in, to the very spacious corner room (city view)with a big king bed, to the huge bathroom. Everything was impeccable. Easy walking distance to everything. Would definately stay here again. Recommended.

Good location to Circular Quay. Comfy bed. We had a water leak in our ceiling, and they moved us promptly the next day (although to a slightly smaller room). Great use of nearby gym was expecting a kettle in room. Staff friendly and helpful.

Brilliant location, walkable to all the big attractions. Excellent transport links for travelling further afield or even locally if you dont fancy walking. Very clean and well kept accomodation. Only down side is the rooms are quite small but who stays in the room in a fabulous location.

Comfortable room in a great location

I'm glad I chose this room for my solo stay in Sydney. It was in a walkable location near transit and popular sights, and there were many good options and activities available in the vicinity. This hotel was great for a young person on their own. The food at the hotel was excellent, and the staff was friendly and helpful.

Hotel is right downtown, embedded among high-rise buildings. Good walking distance to tourist sights. Breakfast buffet is very expensive, but there is a nice food court right across the street. Decent bar with light food offerings. Room was nice, with good tech sockets near the bed. (Expedia did not warn me that the hotel's name had changed, and that was disconcerting. I blame Expedia for that, though, not the hotel.)

Very nice stay at The Rydges. The location was wonderful, lots of restaurants and shopping close by.The rooms were very clean,a bit on the small side but it didn’t bother us we were there to shower and sleep. We had the breakfast option and it was very good, lots to choose from.Would not hesitate to stay there again.

Leaving was the best part. Even then the taxi I booked the day before, was given to someone else! The hotel had changed it's name, which was not communicated to me. And when I called the hotel, it gave me options on the phone. And when I chosed one the line went dead. I ended up staying somewhere else. This is a very poor service. When a hotel changes its name, all customers booked there should be made aware immediately, though in my case I was not! Why?
