The door of the room was not locking properly. When brought to front desk, I was told to pull up the door when closing. I wasn’t told that when checking in, and if I was told that before I got the room I would have requested a different one.

When we arrived, the young lady working the check in counter was not a great way to make a great first impression. She didn't greet me, no smile, told her who I was and that I had a reservation, no response but she looking up my info in the computer. She then said something so soft I had to ask her twice what she said, she then said "Deposit" and pointed to the credit card machine. I put my card in and she handed me my key. Later that afternoon I needed an iron and ironing board. Could not find anyone at the desk but saw this same young lady smoking a cigar outside in the back. I asked if they had what I needed, she took another drag of the cigar, didn't say a word, walked inside to the room behind the desk and gave me the iron and board. I said thank you and she you are welcome.

The staff was very professional and friendly. The only problem was that it is not advertised that they do not have an elevator. I was extremely lucky to be the last person to request a room on the 1st floor. I needed an accessible room and I would have had to cancel and lose money, if they hadnt been able to accommodate me.

The staff if phenomenal. Extremely friendly, and Teddy went out of his way to resolve a room issue for us. The facility had just had a water pipe burst and our first room smelt a little moldy. They immediately apologized and moved us to a different room.

No elevator and my 84yr old mom climbing stairs was not a great experience. No mention of no elevator when I made reservations, until we arrived. I did ask via reservation portal for a handicapped room when I made the reservation but never got a response. Due to lack of elevator once we left to run errands, business and family for this trip - we checked out vs staying the 2nd night as my mother refused to climb stairs again When my his and daughter went down for breakfast around 8/830 - there were only bagels a cereal left. No waffles or anything else “advertised”

This is one of the BEST hotels I've stayed in. Extremely modern, nice staff, super clean. It's on the smaller size, but perfect for 1-2 nights... super NICE and VERY reasonable prices. This new hotel model is a winner! Hope others follow their idea!
