When we first entered the room it was humid and had a weird smell. Room down the hall had a biohazard sign on it and blood was still visible on the door frame so that was disturbing.

Ants in the room. At 3:05 in the morning there were a dozen people doping and drinking by the back door. Waiting to sneak in when I let the dog out. The toilet wasn’t even fastened to the floor. It was sliding all over when you sat down

We checked in, and the front desk person was pleasant and helpful, but got off the elevator and the hall was musty and smelled like smoke. We went to our room and it was even more musty. The sheets were stained, the fridge had residue in it and smelled like vomit. The tub didn’t look clean. We picked up our bags (after deliberating bc it was so late and we were just staying for the night before we got back on the road) and left. The person at the front desk was very understanding. We ended up paying a good bit more to stay somewhere else, but it was worth it.
