Great location. Rated a 4 as downtown are a bit sketchy but not enough to deter us from walking around. Beautiful building with interesting history. Rooms spacious and clean. Bed very comfortable. Not far off highway. We were fortunate to have had a room overlooking Lake Superior - amazing view!

They did a great job renovating! A great balance of modern and historic. Beautiful touches. Quiet since it's a small hotel! We had a great view of Lake Superior! Breakfast was okay.

On Thursday, when we checked in, the staff was so kind. In fact, all staff members were amazing. The rooms are large, great view of the lake and the beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was very nice. I will definitely be back!
