We always stay at this Hampton Inn when we visit our family in Adel. It’s beginning to get more run down, and definitely needs some upgrading. But it’s generally pretty clean, and the staff are very friendly.

My room was very clean. The shower had an adjustable shower head and had great water pressure. So relaxing! Fitness room was good. Lady at the front desk was so nice! Overall I was happy to have stayed here.

When we checked in, we were given a room that hadn't been cleaned. Then when we got into our second room, we had handtowels that had stains on them and the toilet was clogged and the water was not draining properly from the tub.

The room was missing sheets, pillows and towels because the staff were completely unprepared for our stay. The futon felt like sleeping on a rock. The drain stopper was missing so I was afraid of losing anything dropped forever. The water pressure felt like I was sharing it with 5 other rooms. I asked for fitted sheets but got a flat sheet instead. Altogether, the stay felt like a $80 hotel at a $200 price tag.
